im not comfortable with my new haircut.....

Hi Zelmarq! Oh, it will definitely grow back. I guess, you are not just used to it at the moment and just give it a few days and you will be comfortable with it. You might be surprised that it sure does look good on you! Because I always feel like that whenever I have a new haircut. I wouldn't like it at all when I have it but giving it a few hours or days, I am learning to love it and I do think that it really looks good! lol Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Hey Zelmarq, if the biggest thing stressing you out is your haircut, I'd say you have a pretty happy life. I get stressful when I have to have a blood pressure test, and guess what, that stress is exactly what raises my blood pressure to a high level. Now that's a catch 22 situation I'm not happy with. Have a good time, nature and time will take care of your hair.

You probably have to get used to it.I have a short hairstyle now but feel a little awkward.I normally wear my hair long but everybody I come in contact with likes the new look.Its something different I thought I would try.When you get used to your hair cut you just might want to stick with it but if not like you said it will grow back.

I am sorry your haircut didnt turn out as great as you hoped. In the future you should try out different styles on your face first. What I mean is, there are a few different websites that allow you to upload a picture of your face, then apply different hair styles on your head. Then you can figure out what looks best before you go to the hair stylest. I understand the feeling very well Zelmarq, for I did have such experience before and I think I would face such old feeling again and again unless I don’t have any hair cut or changing of hair styles anymore during the remainders of my life lol. I believe after having the new haircut we would have such feeling when the image appears in the mirror looking quite different to that we are used to see daily. Very often we couldn’t accept our new appearance for we are not accustomed with it yet. And I hope after some days you would like your new hair cut after you have got familiar with it. In case you still dislike it you still could have your long hair style back after some days since it is not that short. Anyway I believe our loved ones and friends around do not care much about our appearance but our good and harmonious relationship. Happy posting and have a nice day.

i understand what you feel.. i also feel that.. I haven't had a short hair since chidlhood until today. I always carry a long hair. Im not comfortable to short and they say it wont fit my circular face, so i never tried to cut my hair short so that i won't regret if in case.. Anyways, it will grow.. don't worry

I get the same basic style every time I get my hair cut. I just like it short and straight. If it's too short it'll grow out. Heck, if it's too short it'll take longer to grow back, and there will be a longer period of time before I'll have to pay for another haircut...so maybe too short is a good idea. LOL

If ya dont like hair cut cut it the way you want the next time I do!

I know how you feel. But like you say it will grow back. Just be patient. Sooner or later you will get the urge to cut it again. Good luck.

I think all of us get that feeling. Don't worry about it, it's good that you try a new look once in a while, so that you'll see what truly fits your face. It's not good to look the same for years, people will sooner or later be bored looking at you.

LOL!...not comfortable? don't worry there are lots of hair style that can suit your face shape, pattern and formation. Hair dressing saloon much well better know how to make it into good looking and match it with your face, body shape and your height. Especially, integrate it with your walking pattern. Once all in the right position, you will be in good looking than yesterday.

Hello Zelmarq, that also happened to me before, I just cried for about 2 days coz I was so unhappy with my haircut, so I just put some hairbands or hairpins and had to comb my hair always. But now my hair is longer, and I just don't wanna go back to the person who had cut my hair. But you are right, our hair would grow longer so it's just a temporary sadness and uncomfortable feeling, and in no time, we'll be back with our "lives"
