Thank you guys , i will suggest this to my husband. Now again, i ma having a difficult time to reconnect. They keep on doing this to us. Ever since we used their service, these past three months, their connection was the worst.
We will try to change our connection soonest since this company is not doing their very best to keep the customer satisfied.
I am sorry if i am voicing it here, i don't know if i violated any rules here on MyLot, hehhe!

Ah, how I miss my old connection. When I lived in France (where they LOVE their technology), I had an 8mbps connection, internet telephony and TV all through one provider. It was incredibly cheap and would give actual download speeds of up to 2 megs a second. Even better - the company I worked for paid for it so I could work from home on occasion!
Now I'm in the UK and connections cost a lot for much less speed. I mostly use a nearby hot-spot (an open connection in a public place), so I don't pay anything. I get maybe 15k/s at times, though mostly about 8k/s.

Mine is a DSL/Broadband connection but it is just 1 mbps. I'm happy with it though. The speed just suits my need. I can download and upload just fine so I'm not planning to upgrade it or something in the near future. Yours was great! I bet it's really fast.

Hello mailtoramesh, Hubby and I are using Reliance Broadband internet connection for how many months now.
But sad to say we do have problems with the connection every now and then. My Hubby always complains and calls to their call center for the interrupted service we always get. Last week we were not able to use it for two days even if we paid in full and they don't reimburse the non usage days.
Yesterday it got interrupted again. I wasn't able to use the internet after 11pm night and to our surprise when we logged in, another else's id popped out our screen, so we complained again. We are having a difficult time on their service , we do think of changing now. That is why i wanted to know how much does other broadband connection offer and their speed. I am hoping to get a reply to some MyLotters whom i asked about BSNL.

Wow! 2mbps speed? That's so cool! Anyways, we just got connected with the new dsl provider (SmartBro) because our old dsl provider is not working for almost 3months thats why we choose to transfer and get connected.
We subscribe for 384kbps only for 999.00 (Philippine peso) every month ($25). So far, our connection with SmartBro is worth it.

Mine is BSNL Broad band with a speed of 256kbps. This is from a public sector in India, mostly there will not be any interruption in the connectivity. During the peak hours, the download speed may fall slightly and this will rectified if we make a complaint to the concerned authorities. I feel very comfortable with this, as many other service providers in our country will charge more for the connection with the same speed and also the service will not be good.
