Do you ever spend the entire weekend cleaning?

Although I do a little each day I have to be up at 4 am every day to fit everything in; housework and my writing. I can't stand the house in a mess and I have to clean it up. It so difficult! What I wouldn't do to be able to hire a cleaner! Sometimes I wish I was one of those people who live in messy houses and they just don't care, I bet they are happier than me! Hope you got all your cleaning finished!

Cleaning, you have got to be kidding. I stay as far away from cleaning as possible. Just the thought makes me want to stick my finger down my throat. LOL I can when it is only necessary.

I used to but no way. not anymore. I get someone to clean the house weekly while I go to work. It has made my life way easier.

OMG since we have lived in our house here we have had some much company I have had to so much deep cleaning. I know what you are talking about cleaning all weekend long. I have not done that since February. I do have to clean my carpets once again but I am out carpet shampoo. Casteel soap works well but the bubbles are horrible.

Hi eaforeman6! Oh no, i really don't like cleaning on weekends. I do have my cleaning spread out each morning for the whole week and every weekend I always spend it with my father and grandmother at my grandmother's home. I wouldn't do anything more cleaning over the weekend--no no no! Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Say if I lived nearer I could come over and help you with your housework, I am very domesticated, and will lend my hand to anything EXCEPT ironing, that is the only job I wouldn't or could do, or cooking either! Anything else Wolfie is your man! If you cooked me a nice meal I would happily help you to give you more time for your online work, now that's fair isn't it! Then after it's all done we could sit and relax with a hot chocolate and a great dvd!

I would if I thought it would stay that way but it doesn't so I don't. I am out of work right now, I have everey reason in trhe world to clean thius house. But iut's like I clean it and the next day you could swear IU didn't do a thing. So one day when they move out I will. I'll spend as much time as it takes.

I can only do a bit at a time and I have to do a little each day or I would get too far behing. When I was able to work before disabilities I'd work all week then come weekend or days off I'd have to go hard. I just can't do that anymore. Thank You and Take Care.

I cleaned downstairs last night...and tonight I'll clean my bedroom and my craft room as a friend is coming over to scrapbook tomorrow.....so I have to clean up my stuff I have laying around....but no....I don't clean all weekend. I live by myself and most of the time I am up here on the computer so it really doesn't get that bad...only when I have the little granddaughter here....but that's okay. I'd rather have a mess then a clean house without company!

yes some weekends i spend cleaning all the clothes, my room and just everything...so those weekends are not pleasurable as they should be. but not all the weekends. there is one more reason for this is i don't really like anyone else to touch the things in my room...like some typical college boy .
