hello friends, here I am going to give you a bit pressure on your brain.
How many of you can remember the first day of your schooling?
Though I have completed my post graduate degree but still I can recollect that sweet memory vividly..
I did not cried.I did some mischievous acts even on first day.I ate my friend's tiffin.and after that crashed the tiffin box.He cried a lot..
Share what you did on the first day of your school life.
Wish you all the very best for your good memory.

I do remember my first day of school. I remember my mom following the school bus to the school. She was standing in the doorway of my classroom as I sat in front of my cousin. Both of our moms were there and my cousin and I were telling them both to leave. I'll never forget that horrible smelling building with the tan brick walls and the green and black checkered floors. Kindergarten was rough for me because I had already learned so much at home that I was bored with school.

I don't actually remember my first day of school. What I do remember is my first day at school. It was a day before school started where the parents could bring the kids in see the classroom, meet the teacher so that when school started it would be easier for us. Things wouldn't be quite so strange because we'd been there before, seen the teacher.
I remember being so scared I begged Mom, not to make me go, I wouldn't let go of her, sat on her lap the whole time and wouldn't speak to anyone.
Mom did a good job though. In the week or so afterward before school started she talked up how good school would be, how much fun I'd have, new friends etc. When the day came for my actual first day of school, I was so pumped up and ready to go that she tells me I forgot to even say goodbye to her. I just ran off to class.

I still remember the first day of school. My mom brought me to school. I'm really nervous at that time. I'm anxious of not making new friends at school. They might not like me or something. Luckily, I was able to make friends during the first day of class. I was able to initiate a conversation when I saw a girl who has a barbie backpack. I really adore barbie when I was a kid. hehe

I can't remember exactly what happened that day.. but my mom told me that i cried at my first day in school.. she didn't go home just to make sure i'm alright.. after a week or two, i've stopped crying because i got used to my new environment already.. my teacher was nice but some of my classmate were pretty annoying most especially the boys!

Well, a fresh vivid memory of my school life. 16 years ago, when I first came to the states, I did not speak a word of English. I was pushed to go to school, it was an elementary school, called Griffin. I was so scared, because I don't understand a word. I just stand there, and follow the guidance of teacher assistants. Some people did make fun of me, and I understand that is the weak point of when you were taken advantage of. Painful, but a good experience.

I can remember it like it was yesterday, my parents were older so they shopped for clothes for me at Sears. When I rolled out of the house and met my friend from the street for the first day. He was dressed like a Billy from Easy Rider suede coat with fringes, I was in a suit and tie looking like Herb from WKRP or a door to door insurance salesman. I even had a plastic briefcase. The thing parents do to you. I have no other recollection of that day the nthat memory of standing side by side for photos and feeling that I just looked funny.

I'm having a hard time remembering but my parents would always tease me that the first few days of me starting school, I was such a cry baby! I always want my auntie to stay with me inside the classroom and when she was asked to leave and wait outside instead by my teacher, I would ask her to stay outside the window where I can see her... -cherry

I can remember my first day of head start when I was 4. I was wearing a pink pair of pants, with a pink and grey shirt, and jelly shoes, lol... I was picked up on the bus by Miss Sharion, and I sat on the second row. I got to school, and we were seated in a circle and everyone had to tell their names. We then went and had s little snack, and we played a few games, colored, and then it was snack time again. We then went and had a nap. We then had instuctional time about the ABC's. After that, we went to play outside, I remember the swings being to high for me to reach so my teacher put me in the swing and pushed me. After playtime outside, we went back inside to gather our colorings to head home. We loaded the bus again driven by Miss. Sharion, and home we went. What a fun day, dang I miss being that young sometimes. Now, I've got one child in school, and another will be heading that way in 3 years... I hope they can remember their first day as I can!

I do remember my first day of kindergarten. I had a lot of first days because we moved a lot and I had several first days of school at new schools. I do remember my first day of kindergarten. My teacher was awesome, it was her last year, she was like everyone's favorite grandmother. She was always fun and read stories all the time. We had nap time and then snaks and she'd make us homemade cookies to go with our fruit and milk. She made learning seem fun...or at least she did for me, I was hooked on school. I sat at the same table as Daniel and Danelle, the paste eating twins. We did centers and we rotated around until we had all had a turn at each center. We had art center, reading center, listening center, game center and home center. She gave us all hugs when we left for the day.

I was blessed with a wonderful kindergarten teacher too. Back when I was in kindergarten we only went 1/2 days and started at age 4, so one year you went in the morning and the next you went in the afternoon. Mrs. Erickson, was the best, she was kind, fun, and we learned a lot from her. I had her both years, as she was the only kindergarten teacher. I figure I started kindergarten in 1956, lol, long time ago.
Hugs

I can remember everything lol... hilarity from the first moment I entered kindergarten. I remembered eating 2 bowls of snacks because my teacher actually asked twice if I can eat all of them lol... and then the best part is at the end of the day lol. My mom was late at picking me up and I was so scared of being left at school so I tagged along my new friend. I don't know how to go home hahaha. so I was crying the entire time I was following her and she took pity on me cuz she knows her way around that area even at the age of 6. lol funny... when we reached her place, she asked her uncle to drive me home in his jeepney.Fortunately, I know my home address just not how to get there. The nice man asked me who my father was and bingo, he knows my dad wooohooo! so he brought me crying all the way home.when we got there my mom was so worried cuz she didn't see me at school when she came to pick me up. the teacher informed her that I already went home with a classmate lol. the funny part is that I tried to pay the nice jeepney driver with my little pocketmoney while still bawling my heart out... gosh! I remembered all of the people there laughing because of that. My parents were really grateful that i came home safe on the first day of school lol... Every time I remember that event, I still laugh and tell myself, "darn, I'm so lucky! lol"
