Annoying Farting Employee

I had experienced way back 2005 in our recruitment agency I worked with. I was discussing about the company's policies to our newly hired employees. This young farting newly hired employee came in very late during my orientation. When I called his attention, he's very much confident to stand up and asking for an apology for being late. Well, everybody deserves a second chance. But the bad thing there is, he intentionally fart inside the office. He just laughed and said "on this day forward I proclaimed myself a farting employee". Would you be pissed off with this kind of situation?
