Hi Michemail, just a few words , use your ingredients to make a vegetable stew , all you need is a big or small pot depending on how much you want to cook ,i always dice my patatoes and carrots , the slice my onion and soak my onion in a bowl with luke warm water , add in the pot a drop of oil if not a cup of water , then add onion first and cook for afew mins, then addd the rest with more water and then cook for about 25 min.
I always serve this dish with some toasted bread , and i make this dish a lot during the winter , and also add what ever vegetables i have , have fun from bignik sardinia

That depends on what you have in your cupboards or in the fridge.

You can boil the potatoes and carrots or fry them together with the onion and heat up tomato sauce and pour it over the potato and carrots.
I'm not sure what the other food is but if you have some meat just add it.

Make yourself a good cheese omelet. It is not too heavy for your stomach and delicious. That funny I do not exactly know myself what I'm going to cook tonight for myself. We eat more eggs nowadays cause our chickens lay more at this time of the we get a dozen and 1/2 per day with 20 hens.
