Hi My Lotters, I absolutely love eggs and I just cannot live without them! I have two boiled eggs every morning for breakfast and I guess I've been feeling invincible for a long time now They say eggs are really good for you and I'm thinking that they contain a whole lot of protein as well, good for those muscles! Do you remember the soldiers game in the mornings? The lovely yellow yolk, how it slowly spills over when you dip the toast in!!! Here's to eggs... Andrew

I love my eggs but I think I can do without them.Well I dont eat them every morning because I was told that eating too many eggs means that you system will have to cope with a lot of protein and that is not good .Further more I dont like to eat only boiled eggs, sometimes I like omlets and even that I dont eat every morning. My hat goes off to you for eating two every morning, all teh best with that

Yes, I also heard that eating too many eggs can have that effect on you but I'm not too bothered by that. Eggs for me make a good breakfast in the mornings, it really sets me up for the day! Andrew

Remember that scare with Edwina Curry about eggs? Well I still ate them, she never put me off them, I love eggs too! Every Saturday night after I have done a work out at the gym I have a lovely omelette with four eggs, cheese and onion, lots of protein to feed my muscles. I will also a fried egg or two during the week, the only way I can't eat eggs is when they are scrambled, weird eh, but any other combination of cooking and yes I am definitely an egg fan. Although the chocolate variety that I have already seen in the shops are also very tasty too ;0)

Hi wolfie, you really are a tough cookie! I gave them up for a short while during the Edwina Curry phase! Still, I eventually returned to eating them and I hope that I never have to give them up again. I think I probably relate to you in that you are into fitness training and I guess I eat eggs for the same reason. I don't know how some people swallow raw eggs in one go from a glass! I could never do that!! Anyway, for a short time only it's a bacon sandwich in the morning for breakfast as I have run out of eggs. Andrew

I love eggs too! My daughter especially loves them and is the only form of protein that I can get her to eat. She really doesn't like any other form of meat.
I probably make eggs 5 mornings a week. I find they keep me full through lunch and give me the energy to keep up with my toddler.
I mix up how I cook them. I like hard boiled and scrambled the best. Every once and a while I throw an egg and cheese sandwich into the mix on an English muffin.

Hi Emma, sounds like you too have a great relationship with eggs! Sometimes I like to have them fried on toast and I break the yolk and spread it everywhere on the toast, real nice... Andrew

Hi Sue, that's great that I'm making you feel a little peckish!! There are so many different food discussions that I get involved with that I too find it hard not to come up with new ideas for creating new meals. Anyway, I don't think that I could ever change my breakfast routine, I am so used to it now. Me and eggs will go on for many more years to come!! Andrew

I love eggs too! I eat them everyday. I like making a scrambled egg sandwich for breakfast but I also prepare them in many other ways. I even put an egg in my ramen soup sometimes. My muscles have gotten much stronger from eating eggs, they are also good for weight loss. Yay for eggs!!!

That's ok, eggs are not for everyone everyday of the week. I'm so used to this process now that it's second nature to me, I just stick the eggs on the boil! I guess you can have too much of a good thing but there you go, me and eggs, we seem to have a long lasting relationship!! Andrew

There are just so many different ways that you can have eggs and I have only stuck to one way but I'm pretty happy with this. I always have them boiled, quick and convenient I guess! I'm not too keen on the messy frying pan aspect when you fry eggs! Andrew

That's definitely one way to have them and that's another favourite of mine although I tend to leave the ketchup out!! Andrew

I can't hardly eat eggs, not sure why..I think it is because when you break them to cook them seeing the runniness (is that even a word?) grosses me out!!! I make them for my son all the time, but just the thought of reating them myself makes me queasy!!! I know that are super good for you, but I can't get past the wiggly, jiggly gross look of them!!

Well, I sure agree with you on that one! When I am ready to fry an egg in my frying pan, when I break it open on the edge I have to admit, it does look really ugly and is enough to put you right off! However, I always try to remember how good they are for you and I guess this helps me to persevere with the cooking process! Andrew

scrambled eggs are very easy made. i like cheese in mine. the only thing u have to watch is the heat u cook them on. if it's too high they will scorch, not good. it takes very little heat for eggs to cook.

I'm so used to eating eggs now but for some reason I have never travelled down the road of eating scrambled eggs! I guess I'm going to have to read a cookery book of some sort, I don't even know how to make scrambled eggs!! As far as I know, eggs are full of the essential vitamins like A,B,C and whatever other invaluable nutrients there are! Andrew

That's great. I guess if you are eating eggs then you are receiving a lot of vitamins anyhow. I tend to go for the very large eggs. I'm sure they must be doing me some good as I feel quite energised when I go out in the mornings. Andrew

A life without eggs would be absolutely horrendus! Still, I have been eating eggs for as long as I can remember and they seem to be doing me the world of good. Sometimes when I run out I have to resort to a bacon sandwich! Then it's back to two eggs in the morning. I love eggs on toast as well and I just love to spread the yolk around. Andrew

i can;t live without eggs, weekly once or twice , i will take eggs compulsorly and it is good to our health also ,if we take eggs weekly 2,3 times.
People who eat eggs have been shown to have better diets, perhaps -- scientists speculate -- because they tend to eat breakfast, especially eggy ones. Eggs have both fat and protein . these increase a sense of fullness.
On the Food Guide Pyramid put out by the government, eggs are part of the protein-rich food group of meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts. Two to three servings from this group are recommended each day. One egg would be equal to one-third to one-half of a serving from this group.
The American Heart Association says that one egg a day is acceptable, but to keep in mind the cholesterol in that egg along with the other foods that you eat in the day. Those with heart disease, diabetes, or a high level of LDL 'bad' cholesterol should probably choose a small or medium egg vs. larger ones which have more cholesterol. Remember that egg whites have no cholesterol.
A large egg represents less than 4% of the daily calorie intake of a person eating 2,000 calories a day; it provides 10% of a person's daily recommended protein, and valuable iron, B vitamins, and minerals, including the folate recommended for pregnant women.

That's quite a bit of interesting information that you have given here and that's really good. I have been eating two eggs for breakfast for a long time now and I'm so pleased with they way they have been helping me. It would be totally strange for me to go out without having an egg or two come breakfast.Andrew

It sounds like you do more with them than I do!! I only have them boiled and I guess I'm not that adventurous when it comes to cooking! Still, I will always make time to have an egg or two so that I can continue to reap the health benefits of this wonderful product. Andrew

The weekend has just passed and I guess I had my first fry up in a long while! I had two eggs on toast and this made a nice change. However, it's back to boiled eggs this morning. I don't think that I could ever live a life without eggs, they are just so essential to my mental wellbeing! Andrew

Yes, i do love eggs too. Anyway they are cooked, be it fried, boiled (soft or hard) or even scarmbled and anytime i can have them. I used to have them too everyday but my eldest daughter have asked me to refrain from eating them everyday because of the high cholesterol they give. But often times i am hard headed and i just have them anyway.

Hi sweetie, nice to meet up with you once again. Eggs are so good for you in the mornings at breakfast and I have been having them for many years now. They don't take that long and I'm pleased about that. I have heard about the high cholesterol aspect but I'm not too bothered about that thankfully. I guess I'm interested in the exercise thing and I'm thinking to myself that I will be ok just as long as keep up with my exercise routine. Andrew

Yes I absolutely love the egg. I also enjoy them in different fashions. I like them over easy and to dip the toast in it. I also like cheese omelets. They are great to eat any time of day. Not just for breakfast.
By the way they do contain protein. I think they are very good for you and keep your belly full for longer.
You really seem to have a way with eggs don't you?

I certainly have a way with eggs! We've had such a good relationship for so long and I hope the egg thing continues for many years to come! I guess when people are so busy they just don't have the time to cook the eggs although they only take about three minutes on the hob!! Andrew

I must say that I love eggs too! My favorite way to eat them is easy over with the yolk still a bit runny. Oh how I love dipping my toast in the yolk and wiping the toast in it as much as I can to get as much yolk on the piece of toast as I can and taking that delicious bite! Yummmmy! After the yolk is eaten I love cutting the white of the egg into little pieces and placing it on the toast as kind of an egg sandwich! Yummmy! Eggs are the best that's for sure!

Eggs are a real safe haven! I don't know where I would be without them. I actually had two eggs on toast this weekend and I have not done that in a very long while, it was nice. I'm going back to two boiled eggs though, I feel so much happier eating this way. Andrew

Ummm... My eternal favorite is the Cheese Omelette! I love the way eggs and cheese melt into each other together! And-on buttered toasts and banana shake, and you have a yummy and filling breakfast to kick-start the day! Eggs provide very good protein too, but take care of the cholesterol levels please. Excess of everything is bad, remember? Enjoy eggs!

Yes, I certainly enjoy eggs and I agree, it's good to have a balance in life with all things. I'm not too keen on the frying aspect, lots of mess, boiled is far easier I think. Welcome to My Lot. Andrew
