I think the best one would have to be that I have a disorder called sleep apnea. That I fall asleep at odd times and cannot help it.

Sleep apnia is where you can't fall asleep. You are thinking of Narcolepsea (or however you spell it)

Well, i got a funny excuse... you can say it was by force of gravity.. LOL
it would guarantee that you will be thrown out of your class or office if u do so?

I don't think any excuse would really work because if you get caught sleeping at your desk your boss isnt going to want to hear an excuse they will just be mad that you arent doing the job that you are supposed to be doing. I have never fallen asleep while working lol I can't imagine being that irrisponsible. I am not saying you did this I know that you are just asking starting a question so this is probably all hypothetical. Even if I was totally exhausted I don't think I could ever fall asleep if I was working. Even when I worked from home I never fell asleep at my computer. If I get to tired I just stand up and go get a drink or stretch or something. Anything to keep from falling asleep.

I always sleep in my office i keep the head phones and pretend that i am editing some conversation and lie down on the table my co-workers know that i am sleeping so when ever my boss comes to my side they awake me they even follow the same.

I don't think you can really MAKE an excuse for something like that, not a credible one anyway.
I remember back in high school, when I would CONSTANTLY be sleeping in class - I would say I had a headache and was laying my head down to try to get rid of it.
lol. :/

I have always used, "Sorry, I think I'm a little sick today." Always worked for me!

Not really sure what excuse you could make. Expecially if they hear you snoring! LOL. Anyways, you could do it discreetly and pretend that you are just "praying" or thinking about something. LOL

You can make up a really good excuse, but of course no one would even believe it, so I wouldn't bother.
Why fall asleep on the desk anyway? You should get enough rest at night when you are sleeping. :)

Haha, when I'm at work and I feel sleepy, I put my head down but always have a pencil in my hand. I'm a light sleeper so if I hear someone walk by i just move my hand a little and it just looks like I'm writing but with my head down. It looks awkward but some of my coworkers do the same thing!
