Do you end your day by planning for your next day?

A speaker in a Values Education seminar advised attendees to end each day by planning the activities for the next day. She said that it would be a good habit because it will help us avoid waste of time and it will make you become productive. She added, that it will also keep you from being idle.
That was a good tip and I hope I can follow that.
How about you, do you plan for your next day activities or for the whole week's activities?
Have a great day to all!

for me yes, i manage to plan my daily activities ahead of time and prioritize my itineraries each day... if i need to do important things like as in now i have to do and plan ahead too... in this case we have settle priorities and needed things for our daily routines and step by step a learning process for the improvement on our life - settling goals and at the end of the day a good feeling that we have accomplishments ;)

It's a good idea to plan the night before if you have alot going on the next day.
If I had 25 things that NEEDED to be done I would make a list so I would remember everything I had to do . I'm known for being forgetful
I'm retired so my daily activities really don't need planning .
If things get done today, fine if not they will sooner or later .
I don't get excited over small stuff anymore . Instead I try to enjoy
simple things in life that used to pass me by while I was rushing around
doing things that really were not important anyway. I think John Lennon said
something like "Life is what happens when your busy making other plans "
If you rush around like a crazy person you will miss all the good stuff .
The different sounds , sights or smells, or just the touch of someone .
I think those are the kind of things we should prioritize

To tell you the truth,I am a university student.Except the classes that I have from Monday to Friday ,I must plan other things thant I have to do.For instance,I must play basketball at least three times every week, and I want to see movies every week.If there is sth need to be done next day,I will write them down, then I know what should I do next day.I only plan necessary things that I must do.I ofen find I can calm myself down when in emergency.I think it work a lot to make your plans.

Since I am very much overloaded with workstuff I need to organize my activities up, in this way I can see which are my priorities and which are necessary to be attended into. I usually made a monthly action plan or as what I call it and in a week time I go over it and check what else should be accomplished. Although, I forgot this routine at times balancing my work and home roles, hence I would panic and need to catch things up. To this I find it necessary to stick to my daily/weekly planner.

yaa i too do this kind of work and have the same kind of routine day today life. I think most of the people also do the same thing in most of their routine, don't really.
Its always good to expect and think for the next day routine for maintaining balance all over the day.It make us feel better and relax.
So i think my judgement to this is coreect.
what about yu??

Everyday, I have an idea what to do by the next day and the following day. It's not a lot of planning for me especially when I have appointments.
But, not that I am not working, I am only following m regular routine and for appointments, that is always given!
I don't organize activities strictly, I just go with the flow most of the time!

I agree with that. It is an excellent bit of advice. Planning for the next day is a very useful thing.I do it sometime just before going to bed.Generally when there are too many things to be done the next day and i need to go to many places, i sit and calculate which would be the most economical way of covering all the jobs. I jot down all the jobs and the route to take etc: it is very helpful to me and saves a lot of time and i dont forget any important job this way

I'm not sure I necessarily plan for the next day. My husband and I go over if we have any appointments or other things which need to be handled after work. We also go over what we'll be wearing so there are no early morning cries for socks, etc. I make lunches for the next day so it's easier to get ready in the morning. We try to streamline our mornings because we're both sluggish and need to have everything ready.

I think its always good to plan your day ahead, but I also like some spontaneity. Its what makes life fun sometimes. Everyday schedules can become routine and boring. I say it makes sense to make plans ahead but, on weekends at least try and do something different without planning. Have a great day too!

I usualy don't plan my next day and the end of my day. On sunday I usualy just write a to-do-list so I can get my priorities straight for the week.

I think if I were to write a to do list and leave this at work for the next morning then it would be a great idea.
However, if I took it home, I know I would keep thinking about it. It is so important to have me time, where you dont even think about work. I work in a primary school with deprived children and I know that switching off can sometimes be difficult, almost impossible at times.

I usually think about what to do the next day before bed, I tend to plan what to do early instead of thinking about it on the day, it is wasting time to me.

At the end of the day, after the hard day's work, I always end up sleeping soundly on bed that I forget to plan my itinerary for the next day. But it's not always like that, just this morning I bought a small notebook where I could write all the things that I need to accomplish before the sun rises. I need to do it because I always forget the important things, and it wastes my time and energy.

Yes, everyday before I go to sleep, I will recall important things happened today. And think about what I did is good and what is not good. After that, I will make a plan for tommorrow. Then, I will go to bed and have a nice dream.
