my mom's brother went to our house and wanted to ask help from my mom and their sister, he's sick and needed finacial help according to him. so i told my mom and both my mom and their sister refused to help him. my mom told me ta tell my uncle that he has his children so go and ask help from them and that they lost their trust in him since he was given money before to take care of their land in the province but he didn't and he didn't give back the money. i told my mom that i couldn't tell him that. if you were in my place, would you tell that to your uncle?

I'll just tell him that my mom refused to help him. It's good that you didn't elaborate to your uncle the whole thing your mom wants you to tell him. Keeping it plain and simple always works. Hope your uncle finds help soon!

I personally would not get involved in this situation. If you are able to help him out and want to, fine. But I would not get into the middle of you uncle and mother. The outcome would probably be you being the black sheep due to the "he said, she said". If your uncle wants help from your mother and sister, he needs to address them. If your mother does not want to help him then she should let him know and they can discuss it as adults.

Thanks for your response. I told my mom that I couldn't say those things she wanted me to tell my uncle. She's so disgusted with him that she doesn't want to talk to him either. I just told my uncle that they couldn't help him anymore (period, I don't want to add anything else that my uncle may get hurt).
