I have a few mugs that belong only to me. That means that no one else in the house is allowed to use them! They are different sizes and shapes depending on what will be in them,. My favourite is a pink mug with a black cat (I am a cat lover) that a friend bought for me. I will drink coffee, tea, milk or water out of it.

I put anything on my mug. I sometimes mix my rice and soup in it and eat it while watching TV. Pretty convenient, huh?
Just because it's a coffee mug doesn't mean it's exclusive for coffee. Sometimes, when the handle breaks off or it's hazardous to use because the rim has been chipped off or whatever, I convert it into a plant pot, or ballpen holder, etc.
That's being resourceful. Very girl scout! :-D

Well, Modstar, I see your up early. What would we do without you? You are my favorite mylotter. What with your offbeat brand of Philippino humor and your wonderful ability to act as a food critic for the lesser known delicacies of the South East Asian corridor, you are an ambassador to mylot! We welcome you Modstar. Now get your Mickey Rourke monkey suite on, don't wash your hair for at least a week, and step those overpriced loafers onto the red carpet and strut your stuff. Can SOMEBODY Paleeze turn Kate Winslet's Oscar into a shampoo bottle and THROW it at Mickey Rourke? For the love of g-d wash your hair man!

hello modstar
yes, i like to enjoy a hot cup of tea anytime in my coffee mug, with some honey and lemon added to the tea. and i also enjoy drinking a delicious hot cup of hot chocolate in my coffee mug as well, with some cool whip on the top of it, or some marshmallows, or even marshmallow creme in it. yum. but as far as cold drinks goes, i like to drink them out of a glass, not out of my coffee cup. one of my brother-in-laws drinks about everything that he drinks during the day out of his coffee cup like that except for ice water. he keeps rinsing his coffee cup out all day and reuses it. i guess that there is nothing wrong with doing that, but when that i have tea or the hot chocolate in my coffee mug, it is a clean coffee mug when that i change my drink from coffee to tea or hot chocolate.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

I do drink other fluid with my coffee mug like milk, water and juices. When I'm at work, I have a coffee mug that I used to fetch water from the dispenser or when somebody prepared a juice, I used it too. I dont have other glasses at work so I used it not just for coffee but also to other drinks. When I'm at home, I used my coffee mug for chocolate drink and milk but if I want water and juice, I used a glass to drink from it.

Yes, I drink my milk and my jice from my coffee cups. I only really drink milk when I have cereal or if I am eating cookies. If I am eating cookies, I find that my coffee cup enables me to dip my cookies in my milk much easier than a normal cup does!

It is funny to see this discussion as this morning I was drinking water out of a mug instead of what I normally do and use a glass.
But I think the reason was that I was too lazy to stretch my arm a shelf higher to get the glass and since I got very motivated and cleaned out all the tea stains from my mugs, it doesn't gross me out drinking water out of it now. but when the tea stains come back I will likely have to workout my arm and reach for the glasses again. LOL
Have a good day modstar
