Have you ever wondered if in our galaxy are other planets capable of supporting life besides the earth, what do you think?

Last Sunday i read an article in my newspaper which was written by Astronomer Alan Boss who has written a book called "The Crowded Universe:Secret of the Living planets". According to him there are billions of stars in the universe and many of them are similar to our Sun.He says that many of them have planets revolving around them and quite a large number could be in the same state as our earth. It may not be possible that if there is life on them, they have evolved to our stage but it could be possible that there may be some very primitive form of life just as the earth had in its very formative state. Since the distances between the stars and our Sun are super-enormous it may never be possible for us earthlings to ever know whether life exists on other planets or not.You can get this book via Amazon.com

I think about that sometimes. It makes my head spin. I start to think about how vastly large everything out there is.......in our galaxy and beyond....and I lose track of the thought of life existing just within our galaxy. It's freaky, interesting, and hard to get my head around once I start.
