What new craft projects have you started? Will you sell them at craft fairs or do you have an online store? I am still working on Sesame Street crafts for our grandkids. Also completed a set of 6 characters which are small wall hangings for a good friend's grandson. Not sure I am going to do any craft fairs this spring or summer.

Green-Blue Sea Glass Necklace - This piece has me quite perplexed as to the exact color. I don't think it is in the teal family, but it's close. This piece of authentic sea glass is wrapped with sterling silver wire and hangs on a 18" sterling silver chain. Not sure what shop it's going into right now...probably etsy
It sounds like you've been very busy lately!I'm working on more sea glass creations. Currently I'm going through the glass I have, drilling holes in the pieces that are going to be used for bracelets and earrings and picking out some choice, jewelry-quality shards to be wire wrapped for necklaces. I'm hoping to get my jewelry into a few more B & M stores for the spring & summer tourist season and I do have quite a few shows planned for this coming spring and summer, to go along with my 3 online shops.

I have been busy with my plastic canvas projects. Unfortunately, they take a very long time to complete. Your jewelry is very pretty and sounds like you've been extremely busy also. Much success with your online stores and placing your jewelry in B & M stores. Thanks so much for responding.

Our little grandbaby is 4 months old today so she's a little young to really appreciate the characters. I did make her a bank and wall hangings. She loves to look at the colors and will watch me work on them while I am babysitting. Thanks for responding.

I am making some cross stitched bookmarks for my friends and a crochet place mats for my mother for mother's day. I also want to finish a cross stitched quilt that I started years ago. My brother's wife is having a baby and I would like to give the quilt to them. I have never sold anything at craft shows because I am just too slow at doing my crafts to make enough items to be worth it. Sometimes if I do something extra or make it just for fun, I list it on Etsy. My mom, however, makes pottery and she and some friends in the same classes as her have done some craft shows where they have sold or traded (to other craft vendors) quite a bit of their pottery.

I am slow also so I do understand. The placemats sound nice. Are they hard to make? Thanks for responding.

I need to start something. I was thinking about trying to make sugar scrubs. I just found a recipe on the internet and thought it would be fun to try. Any other easy craft ideas? I'd love to hear about them.

Did you paint the roses freehanded or have a pattern or stencil? What a gorgeous project. You are just too clever. Thanks so much for posting the photos.

im really enjoying making a patchwork throw for my bed . Its a double im using all linen material , the squares are quite large 11"X 9" THE COLOURS ARE MOSTLY CREAMS , BEIGE AND OFF WHITE with pale green and some pinks ... Im backing it with a cream sheet . Ive used the sewing machine to join them all and then top stitched all the squares with cream embroidery silk .. ive brought a lot of the material from ebay, a fair quarter made me 2 squares i got quite a lot of bargains as the colours i wanted were not the most popular . Ive not got round to backing it yet as its such a big job ... each square needs to be sewn in to the backing !!! ive embroidered my name and my daughters and grand daughters names on to it and dated it for this year so will need to get it finished .
