help cant sleep

Can anybody help me ? i can not get to sleep .i feel like the walking dead.lolo so for give a head of time if i make mistake in spelling or what ever.i have not had any sleep,i'll go lay down try to sleep but my mind(some saying what mind)lolo just wont quit working,i have try and try can any body help me? no sleeping pill .

I know exactly how that is, I go threw it daily. My mind is like a energizer bunny that keeps on going and going and where it stops nobody knows..like now I have spent all day and then all night and know all day again up on the computer. Usually I am on till I can't keep my eyes open and I am falling asleep at computer. But I have found that watching television puts me to sleep faster then being online where I have to use my mind more. You will need to stay away from any stimulants and things that have caffeine cause that will keep your mined riled up and anything that is made for energy should not be taken close to bedtime. Have you tried drawing /doodling or closing your eyes as you wait for a page to load? That also helps me some. Also if it is possible to lay down and stretch and try to yawn a few times if that don't help then eat turkey or chicken noodle soup turkey will help you sleep.

I have also tried Advil PM which worked as well especially if I took them when i was already a bit tired. Nope gotta try to make it to cashout here at mylot just have $6.10 so I gotta be on a roll. My Internet last night was horrific and was staying froze more then not especially whenever I tried to do mylot. So I lost alot of ground that I have to make up for. So it is nose to the grind stone till I make it. I have 3 days ot make over $4 cause I like to have a little extra just in case I get cut a few points and cents.

Thank you mtdewgurl74 for your comment, but i don't like to take pills .I got a little bit of sleep,but i still feel very drained.I drunk enough tea decaff to flood ky. loloi am still trying to get some sleep.

Try Chamomile tea, sometimes that helps me. So does a hot bath on occasion. I can totally sympathize, I have insomnia way bad and once even had sleep deprivation. (don't try that it sucks) if you go to long without sleep you can get sick.

Hmm, I'm wracking my brain and the only other thing I can come up with is deep breathing exercises and relaxation exercises which don't work for me, but who knows They might work for you. I can't remember how to do them though...

Okay, no tea, no warm milk, no bath, no reading. Do you happen to have a heating pad? Can you make your room dark? My suggestion is to make your room as dark as you can, cover up under your blankets, and put a heating pad under your blamkets too. Sometimes, just feeling the cofort of blankets wrapped all around you and the heat can help you to fall asleep. Another option is to lie down in a totally dark room with the t.v. on real low so you have to be very still and quiet to hear it at all. Sometimes, just the fact that you are so still will help you drift of to sleep. If that doesn't work, try putting all your thoughts down on paper. You said that your eyes will not stay open long enough, but that is the whole idea. If you fall aslepp while trying to write, then at least you fell asleep, and if you do, then apparently you have cleard your mind enough to rest.

hi lynnemgno i dont have a heating pad around , don't have a dark room to lie down in ,can't stand my head cover up.it's hard to write right now if you knew how many times i had to rewrite this letter you would under stand.but thank any way bless you

Hello sixclix, lot of people let me know lots of way ,but for me nothing worked so far.have you every on a real go drunk?thats how i feel,if you know how many times i had to go redo this you would die laughing at me.lolo like some one put my brain in slow motion or somthing i hope you find something that helps you out ,if you do let me no ok god bless

you can't sleep a wink or just don't sleep well? how long has it been last? If just once in a while, don't worry. just take it easy. when you can't get to sleep, don't push yourself to do it. you should get out of your bed, do some reading or listening to music. when you get very tire, you can get to sleep naturally. one day or two can't get to sleep won't kill. if this situation last for a few days, that's a serious problem and you should go to see the doctor.

I'm a light sleeper and sometimes can't sleep back in the day. I started running and walahhh! I sleep like a baby!! Running helps me not only sleep but also keeps my energy up. You're probably busy and don't have much time - so do maybe a good 15-30 minutes of it everyday. It will help - I promise!

Try to do it the natural way. If you don't have sleeping pills then you can try drinking glasses of milk, milk contains something that will naturally make you feel sleepy. Get some relaxation techniques , clear your mind and go to bed. Avoid coffee or anything that contains caffeine too before going to sleep. I hope that helps.

Come put your head on my shoulder and let me run my fingers through your hair and it will put you to sleep. i find that to be the best tranquiler. it is soo soothing and relaxing if someone runs his fingers through your hair. I do that with my wife quite often and she falls asleep instantly. Give it a try.

I DON'T THINK SO! LOLOI REALLY REALLY DON'T LIKE ANYBODY MESSING WITH MY HAIR .THAT WOULD REALLY GET ON MY NERVES REAL BAD. bUT I really want to thank you for your comment,and asking me to your home ,but what would your wife say? lolo

well, the first thing you need to know is that you need to find out the reason why cant you sleep. After that you need to know that whether you eat properly or not. Then you need to know how to avoid this thing and finally precautions. well, try all these simple rules and I bet you will feel much better. thank you for your discussion.

sometimes what makes u awake is because of worries. clearing your mind of worries might help you have a godd night's sleep. concentrate on your self. lay down don't think of anything else but yourself laying down the bed. tell your body from your toes to your head to relax and sleep. hope this one helps...

My grandma used to make me a glass of milk whenever I can't sleep. I don't know until now if that actually works because I always fall asleep. I'm too tired of thinking that I'm awake. LOL! But now when I want to go to sleep, I'll just watch anime in my mp4. My eyes will get tired of reading the subtitles because its too small then it will automatically make me sleepy. How about making your bed more comfortable to rest? Try reading something boring. Eventually, you'll fall asleep. ^_^

Only you can help yourself,but I think the best way is making yourself relax and unconscious.If it don't work,try to watch some boring movies or books for a long time.Hope you have a good sleep.
