I am going to do my best to ive up sweets. It will be very hard for me because my husband is always expecting that there be sweets readily available in the house. I am hoping that by giving up sweets, it will benefit me weight-wise and I will be able to lose a few more pounds!

For Lent I am also sacrificing. I will be fasting for lent. Probably a liquid fast, broths soups and juices. Water fasting is a bit too extreme for so long a time. Good luck to you!

Wow, kerry thats a great thought. I work online too so I cant give up the internet, however, will only use it for work and no games and jokes like usual. also give up meat and movies usually, lets see if I can give up something(s) new this year.

I don't believe in sacrificing that much for the lent. Maybe it is because I no longer have a religion, but I still believe in God. Anyway, for me it is more important to spend time to pray for the Lent than to deprive yourself from eating something yummy.
