Do you cheat during exams if you are a student?

i cheated rarely when i was a student. i did not feel the need to cheat to get good grades. i was simply content to get the grade i deserve without having to cheat. my classmates copied from me though and I allowed it. but there was one classmate and we were competing in the honor list and he asked me if his answer is correct. i told him we have different answers. then he realized he is wrong and then changed his answer. grrrr. he doesn't deserve to be best in that subject but he got the "Best Student award for that specific subject. how i wished i did not tell him my answer haha. but when it was senior year, students were rampantly cheating so i joined them ahaha, it was so unfair that you study so hard while your classmates are cheating haha

Hi,punmsharma!I have never cheated in all my exams during my schooldays,too.I just think I can do it well and I no need to cheat.Also,sometimes,the exam was difficut to do,but I still kept on doing it all by myself.And at last,I made it. Sometimes,some of my classmates wanted me to help them in exam.It was hard to me,and I just chose the first row to sit.of course,if the exam did not come yet,I reviewed the exam with them together,and that did help.

Since I am bad at remembering dates I used to take notes in my pocket with important dates and I asked permission to go to the toilet to refresh my memory in the middle of an exam. I did not consider it as cheating at that time.

no.. I have never done that.. And I will never consider doing it in the future. I have scholarships so I have to maintain my grades. Maintaining that grade requires me to study a lot. Ofcourse there were times I wasnt able to study before exams and had to depend on stock knowledge. I wouldnt mind getting zero even if that could disqualify me from my scholarships. At least i know I have strong convictions and principles.

guilty..but im sure everyone at one point in there life have cheated on an exam, quiz, or test...or they atleast thought about it lol but sometimes im scared to cheat off my friends because i always wonder if they got the right or wrong answer like they'll be confident in their answers but i wont be to confident so if i do cheat off a friend its only like one or two questions can never be too sure about their answers that's also why i dont like no one cheating off of me cause sometimes i wont be to confident in some of my answers even if it does seem like that can be the only possible answer but ill be to scared they'll get it wrong because of me and get all mad at me even though they decided they were goin to cheat and think they'll pass with someone elses answers lol..but hey if they ask and if i feel like i want to let them cheat off of me even thou I'm not sure about my answer ill give it to em...and if its wrong then its not my fault u trusted wat i put down on my exam..lol

I was a student who never cheated on any exam. I always found it was easier to just find fun ways to learn things. Trying to cheat seemed like a lot more work.

I too never cheated during my student life. But I was just a mediocre. Any way, for you I say -- congratulations and keep the treat. I also suggest all mylotters, please do not copy anywhere anytime.

I know cheating is an excepted practice for a lot of people theses days. but to me if a person has to cheat to get better grades then He/she needs to get into something else. cheating on exams tell a lot about a persons character. I wouldn't hire a person that i thought had to cheat in school. It tells me they aren't trust worthy.

Hello punmsharma. When I was in college, there were times that I cheated on my exams. I know that cheating is definitely wrong but, I cheated because I didnt know the answer to the questions given. I felt guilty on what I did though, but I tried to answer the questions that I know instead of cheating and try to study harder.

Hey there! When I was in college it was different. I was the one whom my classmates cheat to. lol. They often ask for answers to me. I let them copy my answers because I don't want them to have low grades. Though I don't encourage them to always rely. I do cheat to some times specially during math exams. Don't have the brains for math. lol

That's right. Cheating should not be done during exams. We will never develop our skills and confidence if we cheat. Besides there is a great tendency for student cheaters to be corrupt government officials, employees, businessmen, etc. It is because as student cheaters mature their conscience become callous and are now more capable of bigger fraud.

Hi punmsharma... I didnt try to copy from my friends anytime during exams. I think it is very bad habit. By doing so we are spoiling ourselves. I used to prepare myself well before exams. Even if i dont know the answer to any question, i just dont answer it or i just write whatever i remember. I used to get a good score all the time. I am the topper of my college also. im way too much of a chicken to do that. i get so paranoid that the teacher is watching my every move, even when im not cheating, i feel as if their going to see someone copying me, and think that im letting them, or that they'd find a paper near me and think it's mine.

once i always helped my good friend to have a cheat in exam and we weren't found. but my friend didn't improve himself.i think it is wrong at that time.hehe---now i won't do like that. do it by yourself and you will get a good mark as long as you work hard. believe you can fly you will touch the sky. wish my friends will have a bight future!

Well I used to, but not anymore. It's a bit strange how I always get bad scores whenever I'm cheating on some test, so I decided not to do it anymore. However it upsets me a lot when I see my friend cheats--it's so unfair that they got good marks that easily by cheating while I have to study hard for it.

yah i do try cheating from my friends during exams i think its right to do so.ya i believe in my hard work but at some time i do cheat during exams.

By the grace of God i have been a brilliant student through out my studies and have always brought laurels for my family.I have never cheated during exam time and never encouraged any of my friends to do so.My group was also quite intelligent and brainy and passed out exams with distinction with their own hard work and understanding.

No, I do not cheat. I work for what I get. The only time I get help is with homework and I don't ask for the answers. I get clarifications or compare, but I don't just ask for the paper and copy it down. You don't learn anything that way and end up shooting yourself in the foot.

Probably to other subjects but not all. When I was in my childhood days, I really hate numbers. I find it boring............. of course, I understand some of the basic stuff but no way to algebra, trigonometry, chemistry blahhhblabhhlahh...

hi punmsharma,,you're a good student,if i were a teacher i would like to have a student like you . my score in my school time was not bad,i also didn't cheat at my exam ,especially for the big exam ,i believe i can do myself and i like to do it myself.for i think if i did bad,i can also learn more from the mistake. but maybe sometime for my lazy ,i did little in small exam,i mean it may occur.because to be a student in my life it's really a long time .
