I broke $5. I have $5.01 exactly. That's halfway to payout, too bad it's in 3 days. If I really work hard, I can make it. I have no other commitments to stop me from trying to do it. My story and my poem are both turned in. The Dickens retelling I'm working on has no deadline. Actually, it doesn't have a market yet but I'm sure it will find one. The magazine article editor has not gotten back to me so I don't know what's going on there. The only thing I have to do, between now and Friday and even that is theoretical, is go pick up the chair. I know I won't be able to be here on Saturday much but I'm not counting that. If I have 2 100 posts days, which usually earns me about two dollars and some change each, and a pretty good today, I might just make it. After I wrote a big discussion about giving up the goal. Just figures. How are you doing in your quest for payout if you are on one?

I admire your dedication to earn payout here on mylot! How often do you manage 100 post days? That sounds like a lot, does it take you a while? I hope you make it this month! Good luck!!!

It takes hours, at least 7 or 8. I've written 40 posts today. They were all good posts of at least three lines. I also got a best response and lots of responses to the new discussions I started. Should be a good payout for me tomorrow, I'm hopeful of at least $1.

I thought that I had seen you write a discussion about giving up on the goal, lol. I know that I can only make $2.00 in one day on occasion, and that's because I get so distracted with other things, that I really don't pay that much attention to mylot. I am not on a quest for payout so much as I am on a quest for squeezing out a little more money, lol.

Wow! Can you actually make $2 a day here at mylot? How many hours do you spend here at my lot before you can earn that amount. I am just so curious because in a day the highest earning that I got so far is only 58 cents.

I don't really know as the amount of discussions and responses I make vary on how much time I spend on mylot, and also how I respond to the discussions. Longer responses make more money, and I try to do that but then again I also try to compare to what the discussion starter and the lines they've made in the discussion.

that is really fantastic... well done... i wish you all the best and hopefully you can earn another $5 in 3 days to reach payout... i had already reached mine... but that is after 3 months... i have a full time job so i can't spend much time here... so i didn't really set any specific goal for my earnings here... i am happy with whatever amount i earn from here... take care and have a nice day...

Im at the halfway mark as well but it has taken me far longer than you i would think to get to that amount. I use to spend a lot of time on this site but its just that its easier to get a part-time job if you want the money instead of sitting here for hours on end trying to make $1.

It is really great that you are reaching half way in three days. I think you are doing a great job and will be able to get payout for this month only. I am also looking for my first payout. I am just a dollar short of it.

Wow. I would like to experiment one weekend and just post for like 12 hours for 2 days straight...lol....I wonder how much income that would create....Interesting to hear that 100 posts earns about $2.00 in income. I suppose I will take things 100 posts at a time and see where we end up in 12-18 months. Maybe come up with 25 bucks or so.....haha...

I think I would be extremely angry with myself if I sat posting for 12 hours straight. I do this for enjoyment,distractment,venting and the pleasure of commenting on what others are doing/thinking about/needing advice for. It is nice to see a few cents for doing this. Don't get me wrong, I need money. I just don't expect to make a lot here.

Wow- a hundred posts a day- now that's committment. I have never even come close to that. I have a little over $8.00 and haven't reached payout on this site yet but keep pushing forward because I know the payout will be there when I reach the min $10.00 but I don't really try to reach payout, I just respond to the discussion that appeal to me. hello..congratulations . i only have 2.27$ still i know i can't reach the payout whatever i do mylot can't credit me about 8$ during the last 3 days.
most of the times i only response to others topic because there are less person response to my topics that's really bothered me. but as you know mylot only credit 0.01 per response. , but now i learn from you that i can try to post my story in mylot to gain more credits..i still have a long way to reach 5$ and a long long way to reach 10$....good luck.

I haven't been here that long, but should either be to or above $2.00 tomorrow. So I won't make payout this time, but will make it for March.

All those posts and you are just now at $5.00? Is it really that hard to make money on here? I was hoping for something a little... well better than that! Well, I'm deffinatly interested in hearing how others are doing. I've just started, as you can see and it seems that my post count has stalled because I just started 2 new discussions and it's not counting them. Hmmmm, maybe because of the time of day it is, it's almost midnight. I don't know if that would do anything. Haha. But, I'm hoping that's all it is.

To be sincere, if someone would like to pay me $20 a day to post 100 answers here, i should say "no thanks". Too much stress! ;)

well, i have today $9,25 and there it`s not enough time to earn the amount that i`ve planned. I hope that i will reach this moneth payout, because i don`t really have anything to answer in here. Today, i was here 4 times, and every time i looked, and i didn`t had any idea to answer any discussion. This makes me feel that i will not reach the payout even if i`m that close. I just hope that i`ll see some discussions to answer so, i`ll reach the minimum payout.
