Do you enjoy a soft fuzzy blanket

Why is that some of us enjoy a warm, soft fuzzy blanket? I love the way it feels touching my skin, it is warm, soothing, and love to pull it up to my face, or have it touch my chin or nose. I remember my kids pulling it up to their noses when they were little. I don't pull it up all the time, but sometimes when I am not feeling good, or when it is colder in the house, it just feels good. Wrapping oneself with a good soft and fuzzy blanket is just nice. PS. Sorry I didn't know where to list this.

Wow! I just love it as well. Nothing plunging into the warm, cuddly feeling of it. I have one which is very light but the softest and a few days ago when my niece visited she would not allow me use it. She said it was all hers! She loved it even. I just wish we get more chilly winters here!

We get plenty of chilly winter nights, and many cool nights in spring, summer and fall. So I get to enjoy my blankets. You are so right there is just something about a warm soft cuddly blanket to make one feel good. Hugs Mary

Our country has been seeing the worst effect of global warming, our careless misuse of nature! We have not seen proper winters for the last few years and on the contrary, Dubai is experiencing chilly winter nights and even snowfall!

Wow, I would say that is a change in your weather. Well if you get a few cold night, you will be able to enjoy your blanket that much more. I didn't know India even got snow. You will have to keep me up to date on it. Hugs Mary

I think being wrapped arounfd in a warm fuzzy blanket is just cosy, I love doing so when it's raining outside and the temperture falls below 18 degree celcius, I still pull the blanket over my face when I feel cold, it's great! Happy-Mylotting

So very true jziakhan, there is nothing like a soft and fuzzy, warm blanket to take the chill off on a cold night, or on a dreary rainy day. Thank you for commenting.

I love soft and fuzzy blankets! They are the best! My grandson has a favorite soft and fuzzy blanket that he has to have with him most of the time and especially for naps. My daughter finally went and bought a few "extras" which come in handy when traveling!

That is a great idea. I know with my twins, we had a lot of blankets but one of them got attached to a special one. Funny how they do that!

Thank you for commenting. I use to change my son's blanket so he wouldn't get attached to just one, as my daughter did. Infact I still have her baby blanket.

If I had it my way, I'd sleep with little or no sheets or blankets at all! But of course this is not possible all year round, so if there has to be a blanket there, I definitely prefer one that's very soft and fluffy. Preferably not too heavy though..... Back home I never really used blankets as such and usually used a doonah. I think they call them "duvets" in other parts of the world? Here in Cairo my Wife and I use a thick fluffy blanket in winter and it's great! (When she hasn't hogged most of it! lol)

LOL, I hear you games. When my husband rolls over he takes the blankets with him, several years back we decided to have our own blankets, it is nice to be able to have one's blanket all night.

I have one of those microfiber ones, and it is so soft. I don't get to use it much, here in Florida.

Yes, i do love those fuzzy, warm blankets. They feel so soft. I really love watching a movie wrapped up in one, or even sleeping with this extra blanket on those cold nights. I'm really in love with the one I have. It's just great to have one, when you need a warm blanket, and such.

Yes our soft and fuzzy blankets are special aren't they. When someone else uses my blanket, I am not a happy camper, but if they need it more than I do, I am ok with it, as long as I get it back. That is why I make sure I have a few spares for blankets. They just make one feel good.

I don't usually use blankets because it is often hot here in my country and it only gets cold when it is Christmas season. But whenever I do, I do enjoy the soft and fuzzy ones that covers my whole body.
