Now we know what happened to Manu.

Pwinsider.com reported that Manu was released earlier this week. I guess this goes to show you that not even superstars that have the business in their blood, so to speak, are safe from being cut. I never felt he was given a fair shot in the WWE. In my opinion, his ring work was fairly good. If I remember correctly, I believe it was said people within WWE didn't like his look and didn't think he fit in with Legacy. I think it's just a case of creative not being creative and not having anything for a superstar to do. Um...how about the New Headshrinkers? (He'd have to come back speaking like Umaga and have a tag partner, of course.) Maybe form a Samoan Mafia stable with Sim Snuka and a returning Rosey? (from Three-Minute Warning and was later called the Super Hero In Training.) I just think WWE needs to put a little more effort into their younger stars, because we know Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker and Kane can't wrestle forever.

I agree. I read about Manu last week on 24wrestling.com. I guess they wanted the members of legacy to look like Orton. Manu clearly doesn't. I think him as Umaga's partner would be ok, but I like the idea of forming a Samoan Mafia with him Snuka and Rosey. They could go after legacy. There hasn't been a good group feud since DX and the Nation back in the day. I agree about wwe not pusing the younger talent. HHH HBK, Kane and Taker will not be around forever. They don't even use Kane anymore really, its ashame.

Yeah, I liked DX and the Nation of Domination. Then there was the Corporation and the Corporate Ministry. Those were the days. I agree with you on Kane. I actually liked his short-lived storyline with Kelly Kelly...and now neither of them are doing much of anything on Raw.

I forgot about the corporation, and shane McMahons group I forgot what they were called. Its was him and two of his friends. It really would be a good change of pace to have group feud's again.

The Mean Street Posse. Pete Gas and Rodney. (Real life friends of Shane McMahon.) Then, they brought in Joey Abs. Those guys were cool. Plus, they had awesome theme music.

Its kind of a shame that they had to release him. I would of loved it if they brought him up as the next umaga or to be umagas manager since he can speak and umaga needs a manager badly. Also they should of never put him on the legacy that pretty much was the beginning of the end for manu should of put him on ecw.

Yeah, Armando Estrada was a pretty good manager. They could probably take one of the several different wrestlers they aren't using, repackage him and make him Umaga's manager. It probably won't happen, though.

yeah you are right whatever we saw of manu was impressive...but sometimes wretling is more than about just fighting skills at least in wwe...thats why vince mcmahon brings in the heavily busted blondes in the wwe...also legacy is a stable of good looking wrestlers so maybe manu didnt fit the bill..but manu shoule have been brought in with a tough guy image along the lines of umaga as suggested in this discussion..id like to se manu returning and im sure he will come back at some point of time

I knew about Manu's release and i though it was fair. I'm sure there a world outside full of better wrestlers than he is. It's not fair to new wrestlers that some guy gets into WWE because their dad was a great wrestler. You have to show talent and have the ability to entertain the fan. I'm sorry, Manu hadn't none. At least not in satisfactory quantity. As far as we need a better future, i think you're right Marcola, legends ain't going to wrestle forever. Shawn's not the wrestler he once was and neither is the Undertaker. They're both in WWE under part-time stipulations contracts, because they want to dedicate more time to their family and private life. And i absolutely agree with them. But if you ask me, I think WWE is doing a good job bringing wrestlers like Edge, Orton or even Cena (who is not that much of good wrestler, more like an entertainer in my view) to the main event. They're the future and present of the company and we even have great younger performers like Cody Rhodes, DiBiasi, Kingston, Bourne (who is actually coming back soon)and some more.
