Yes some of sites does not works nicely on firefox . Some times firefox also gets problem by itself. It is better to remove firefox and reinstall it again than it may start working properly. Whenevr i face such problems I use to remove the browser and reinstall it again usualy than it works normaly.

Let me clear this. Even i had this problem and had no clue what causes it. I use AVG anti-virus. Do you also use AVG anti-virus? If so, disable the AVG safe search add-on in firefox. Disabling that will solve this problem. Have a nice day

try downloading spybot S&D , lets see if this will do the trick, im thinking that there is a bad registry here. i have another program that i use, auslogic boostspeed, it cleans registry, unwanted files, defragments etc...

Yes. As Minfas said above, try disabling the AVG safe search, if you use AVG antivirus. You can manage it from the Tools -- Add-ons menu.

But AVG is verry good in blocking against malicious links. Disabling the AVG add ons, is AVG could still block malicious links if I disable the AVG adds on??

Probably I believe is the OS(operating system issue) or your comp got infected with Virus. A fresh install of windows will do the trick if your can scan anything using the antivirus.

I run Internet Explorer and I have the same problem. I don't know why. My computer is only a couple of months old and has no other problems. I would really like to know the answer to this question also. Someone told me that the problem might be something to do with Windows Vista, but I don't know. Maybe it's like digital cable and just loses the signal sometimes. (Our t.v. does this)

I use windows xp home edition. I do not know if there is a connection to the OS that we use, but I never experience this before. I hope that some mylotter who are IT expert have a solution for this problem.
