Longest you have remained without taking a bath

Almost a month without taking a bath? You aren't serious right? LOL. I can't imagine myself last that long. In the Phulippines, where I grew up, if I had a fever, I was not allowed to take a bath or shower until I feel better.

I don't take baths, but I shower (so I DO bathe... heh). I do so at least once a day, though I don't wash my hair every day (that's supposedly bad for you). I shampoo and condition my hair every 2-3 days, depending on how it looks that day. I can't imagine going for more than one or two days without showering... any more than that and I'd feel too gross to go out anywhere!

My fiance and I try to go a few days without one so as to save water. If we stink really bad we do shower so as to get clean, but otherwise we try to get into this habit so as to save water!

Mine was three days. It was back in high school and my Biology Club was going on a camping trip. It was the middle of February and we were going to be in a room, thats pretty much all we knew as it was the first time the club had tried it. Well, we get there and it is freezing! The floors are concrete and there is no heather so all we had were sleeping bags and blankets. So, we ended up huddled in a corner, all 12 of us, and froze at night. So, we all got about 3 hours of sleep both nights due to our teeth chattering keeping us up! Some of us were going to brave a shower and dry our hair immediately, but the pipes in the bathroom (which we had to hike to) were busted. I don't think we were that bad because we never broke a sweat. We just learned leadership abilities and how to keep from freezing! lol

I think the longest period during which i didn't take bath is 3 days. That too because i was on a journey by train. That time because of floods the train was running too late and it took 3 days to reach my destination instead of 2 days. That's the only time i didn't take bath for 3 days. Usually i don't take bath for 2 days if i am on journey. Happy myLotting...

I would say 2 to 3 days at the most. At the time, I had a really bad sinus infection and I really didn't feel like getting out of my nice, warm bed to take a bath. By day 4, I felt a little bit and it was so relaxing in a nice, hot bath.

eee I thought I would be embarassed to post a reply, but I see there are a lot of people with a lot of good reasons who postpone a bath!! I prefer to have a bath daily, but with a baby in the house and tons of stuff to do the only thing i can neglect is my bath and my sleep. there you go. 3 days at least inbetween baths! But as a rule I have been washing my hair once a week most of the time, its been healthy and strong for saving it from overexposure to shampoos, hard water and the associated stuff involved in a wash. plus i dont live in a highly polluted area so that its not greasy and dirty by the time i have to wash it..

Generally, I take a bat every day, the only exception is when I am too sick to do so. The most I have ever skipped bathing is one day. I just do not feel clean unless I bathe.

I think it was almost two days, I was flying for 2 days because I was flying on the plane going home and by the time I got home, it was alreayd midnight and that was an awful plane ride so I didn't take a shower and went to bed... That was gross...

Hi abhi_dude, I am an Indian too and am a student staying in hostel far away from home. So after a tiring day in college generally I stink a lot but then there are days when even the stink is not an enough of motivation to hit the shower, it is because I am way too tired to have a bath. I have stayed without bathing for around 4 days. I have stayed around 4 days without taking a bath. After which especially in the Delhi summers it becomes irritating to not have taken a bath, because everything gets so sticky and frustrating to me. And a cold shower seems the only resort to escape from this situation. Even though 4 days is the maximum that I have remained without taking a bath, I do occasionally end up without taking bath for 2 days. It is the normal length to miss bathing. But whenever I am at home, I make it a point to bathe regularly and stay clean and hygienic. I really want to know if someone has remained without bathing for more than a week because it really must be sickening to be in the situation. Happy mylotting and and happy bathing to everyone.

I can't imagine your friend din't take a bath for almost a month. How did he do that? lol...I guess your friend may be a soldier and was executing the task,the superior officer gived,in that time.ahaha....Is that right? TO me,i generally take a bath every 3 days in winter and every day in summer. The longest time i have remained without taking a bath may be is 4 -6 days.At that time i am in the hosptial because of my catagmatic leg .And the doctor indicated that my skin of the hurted leg is incompatible with water.SO.....lol..And now i almost can smell how bad the body stink.

hi!^^ hmmm... well i guess it depends on the climate you have on your own country. we have different climates right. like for example here in our precious island, the philippines.^^, it is most of the time hot. there is a time that it is sooo hot! its like you were boiled and fried for the whole day! hahaha. so we filipinos can't make to last long for not taking a bath. one to two days i think is enough. and for me, my longest i had remained without taking a bath is for 2days! hahaha. it is cold on that time so i preffered not to take a bath. because if i did, i think i will be confined to hospital for a week. hahahah.=)

abhi_dude wow how do ya do that... now back in 1992 we had a really really bad ice storm up north and our power was out for almost 3 weeks, we froze our hinnies off, but I wouldnt let anyone in the house take a daily shower so we would put a dozen lite candles in the my bedroom bathroom cause it held the most heat and we all prat- ically lived there to keep warm would take as hot as showers as I know I possibly could and then really freeze until we got dressed only every 3 days to avoid hopefully catching cold. we all ended up fine during that time but it wasnt fun. The most crazy thing for me was that I had a gas fireplace and had hid the key from the kids and didnt remember where I hid it. lol

of course i use to take bath daily wether too hot nor too cold, if i wil not take a bath even a single day then i dont like feeling well......i think that your friends health s not good that's why he/she do not take a bath........., and if your freinds try to bath then u say to tohim or her do exercise and warm up. so anyway i dont like remaining long a bath.

uhhuh i take a bath 2 times a day lol..but lately, i only took a bath once in a day coz i got home too late, and the water is already cold lol omg no-no not more than 1 day ! it doesnt feels right, and it would feel so dirty if im not taking a bath in a day at all..lmao..i wonder how u can do that, arent u feel itchy on ur body n ur hair maybe ?

I just cant imagine myself staying without a bath for even half a day i remember the longest for have been i guess 3 days and that was the biggest nightmare i ever seen lol. i cant imagin it, i usually shower twice a day and now you can also imagine what its for me. if i wnt i might go mad scratching my head. yuck it sounds gross for me not taking a bath for days and ages spare me

I Live in srilanka and ive got no choice but to take a shower two times a day. its real hot here.

Yeah I wonder how your friend endured that! haha. Lol! A month??? We're talking about an earth month here right? Kidding. Mine was 2-3 days at most. I was sick then. I just couldnt take a bath on my own. I think it's easier for guys to go on without bathing, i mean unlike for girls, it's just too uncomfortable *down there* if you know what i mean. HAHA.

I used to take a bath one a month, now its once every two days! :) the longest I have ever gone was a month in a half!

I took a bath once for a week. I had to soak in a tub to help my skin heal after loosing half my skin sliding down a wintry ice glazed hill. That was when i was 12 years old. Today i can bring myself to bathing. It may be from the trauma of my past experience.
