Hi,
Dieting is not the method for weight Loss. It is an unhealthy way to lose weight & could be harmful to your health in the long run
Log on to www.chihealth.in, an effective online Portal, which looks at lifestyle management (Diet & Fitness ). It helps you lose weight & keep that off forever

If you can keep with it sure. But dieting doesn't always work,if you don't allow yourself certain foods you will start to crave it until the point where you have to give in.

No, that's not the method. You actually need exercie and suitable meal list so that you can have enough energy but loss the extra fat on your body. And of course, you shall choose the right exercise which will helps you much. Deitng can lose weight but after you stop deiting, your weight will gain very fast. No dieting is not the best way to lose weight. Increase your BMR is the best way to lose weight. http://www.genuinefatloss.com has some tips on increasing BMR. But the long and short of it is more exercise and eat the right way

I don't believe in "dieting". I think any plan, at least for me, that requires elimination of some food or food group is impossible to stick to. I just count calories and exercise. I stay under 1500 calories a day, but over 1200 and exercise 6 days a week for 30 minutes up to an hour. I've already lost 6 pounds in a week and a half and I can still eat yummy foods. Yesterday, I ate very healthy so that I could have a piece of fudge from See's Candies. It was delicious and I lost a pound.
I think calorie counting is the simplest and most effective long term type "diet". You can have whatever you'd like, in moderation of course, and still lose/maintain weight.

Hi sridhar
Dieting is not necessary for weight loss.
If you are calorie conscious, you can manage your weight properly.
It is only the calorie that matters. If your intake of calories are more than your body burns, the excess calories is stored as fat, increasing your weight.
So if you need 2000 calories per day,you should plan your food accordingly.
If you eat more than that you must burn it by doing some exercise.
The weight loss diet, pills etc are only temporary weight loss methods.
Happy mylotting

I have just lost five pounds in one week with a low carb, high protein diet and I'm not starving myself in order to do it. I had a hamburger with cheese on it tonight...I just didn't put in on a bun...I put it on a bed of lettuse with some mayo. I've had good luck with low carb diets in the past and it's pretty easy. Instead of drinking things with sugar in them I drink flavored bottled water (checki the label) or diet soda, snack on nuts and eat canned meat...I like the chicken for lunch. As long as you keep your carbs below 20 per day, you will lose weight.

When my sister had her baby she went on a low carb diet called Kimkins. She lost almost sixty pounds in less than three months! She said it's inexpensive and they have free weight loss tools and recipes too. Good luck!
