There are many forms of addiction and it's not only in drinking, smoking or drugs. Let's try to be a little bit more creative today.
What are your addictions that you find hard to stop?
For me, it's facebook games, and mylotting. Well, I don't really want to stop mylotting because it's not really unproductive because I could earn (though it's in pennies, at least I could earn while I'm online). On the other hand, my playing with facebook games is totally unproductive, but I'm quite addicted to them. I can't help but return each day.
What are your addictions and what are your strategies and tactics to outsmart yourself and keep yourself from developing more addictions?

For me my addiction would have to be the games or certain games on shockwave.com. I play them to relax me and to keep me still when I want to rest.

Oh no I won't quit playing my games. I don't know about that. I know when I can't sleep I'm either here in the lot or playing a game. It's the only thing I do that is frequent.

I am very much addicted to speed. Speed in every thing. While traveling, riding, accessing net, playing outdoor games everywhere. I am not sure though that I really want to stop it or not.

Well the only addcition I want to stop is smoking. I will take my mylotting addiction anyday lol. Smoking is one of the hardest things to quit. I have to find a good solid replacement before I attempt quitting again. Candy and food is not a good replacement and gaining weight I do not want to do. So if you have any helpful hints for me let me know.

I am addicted to watching TV~~~well, it is a truth that I was raised up by TV. My parents are so busy with their work that they always neglect me. The only voice I could hear from is TV. It teaches me knowledge, communicates with me, and takes good care of me, lol. Funny and weird?~~~~haha~~~ once I turn on the TV, I couldn't leave from it. I will simply sit in front of it, turning one channel from other~~~~ some could say computer is more intelligent, and guess that I probably have been addicted to computer. Well, I do have my own PC and I love it, but to me, computer is just a tool, a machine. Not for TV which has become one of my family member.

I too have an addiction. Unlike others it is neither an addiction of smoking nor an addiction of drinking. It is an addiction of playing computer games. The basic requirement of life is that one has to prioritize different things accordingly. But I failed miserably in this field. I am so addicted to games that I screwed my examinations, even all of them. I am really working very hard to get rid of it, but still unsuccessful.

I am currently addicted to doritos and mylot. The truth be told I dont want to stop anyone but I would love to cut down on the amount of doritos I consume and the time I spend on mylot.Doritos are snacks and as such consumption of too much can have dire consequences for my health .Too much mylotting can affect other aspects of your life. The truth be told I dont know how I am going to deal with curbing either one.I guess I will have to stop buying doritos and as far as mylotting is concerned ,I dont know...cant stop taht one

i`m addicted to the internet. All that includes surfing the net. I just hava that in my blood. If just for one day i`m not online, i feel like something is missing , and i don`t know what.I just want to earn a good income from home through the internet, and i`m trying all that i think that`s profitable. Now, i simply try to make $30 in my paypal account, to build a proffesional website to earn some good money online. Then if i`ll do that, i think that i will not be so many hours online, because now that`s all i do. College, surfing the net, eating, sleeping.

1. Coffee. I swear to god I'm a totally different person if I don't get my morning cup.
2. Shopping - I'd been wanting to stop shopping but I just can't. I'm not in bad shape though, I make sure I stick to my budget.
3. Shoes ... oh well, a girl just can't have too much of those.

LoL! me too...im addicted to chatting (on YM with friends), myLot, and thought it's not as bad as like what you said, drinking and smoking, it COULD get worse if i don't learn to control it you know. i think the addiction factor for myLot is the freedom to you know, talk about everything under the sun, and it's really good when people comment on your discussions / response. I think it's not directly mylot that causes my addiction --- maybe the attention i lack / seek in real life , is something i find, or have found in mylot. Sounds cheesy...i know. Haha. but i'm thankful i'm not badly , OVERLY addcited (yet). i think my hardest habit i want to quit is smoking.

I'm addicted to Coke products. Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero...etc. I reallu need to stop though. About 2 weeks ago, whenever there was no coke in the house, I was just doing fine on water. I think after the Coke is gone in the place, I'm going to start drinking water and gatoraide =). I want to get off this Coke addiction as soon as possible.

I know it may sound stupid, but I'm addicted to diet coke! I know I need to cut down and just can't seem to do it. I am on a low carb diet, I've lost 15 pounds and I'm at a stand still and have been for several weeks. I just know in my head if I would let up on the diet pop that I would probably start dropping. Just can't let go!

I have many addictions. But I call them obsessions. lol I love facebook games too. That is the only thing I do when I sign on to facebook. I am also addicted to fashion, but it's more like an obsession. I love shopping too. But since I just started MyLotting, I don't know yet. I also am addicted to music! I mean as in, you will always find me listening to all kinds of music all the time no matter what. I even get in trouble for it with my parents and teachers. I even cried when my iPod stopped working (is that normal?)*haha* So now I am in search of an iPod and that's how I got into MyLotting! Okay I know this does not relate to your question.:3 Sry I don't know how to stop addictions/obsessions; I don't think I want to!
