do you think that mylot is fair?

I personally don't think it's fair, but only because I follow the rules re interesting, readable posts etc and get a few pennies a day for good SPAG, while others have bad English spelling and grammar and earn loads. But it's my own fault for not wanting to let my standards drop. I reckon MyLot should have a system more like DooYoo - I've done a lot better there and it's where I concentrate most of my energies these days.

well, i must say that i really think that they are so fair, because i really make some good money on here. And as i calculated, i think that they are calculating too so good. I can`t say anything bad about mylot, because i don`t have any reasons. When i`ll have some, i`ll just say thouse . Yes, sure that it was better if they would say that you have an exact amount of money for ever post you make, but it`s good like it is right now. i`m happy now on mylot. Hope that mylot will not be afected by this crisis.

Does anybody know what the actual minimum payment is per post? I started off a discussion and, okay, so animal cruelty in battery farms wasn't top of the 'hit list' on the MyLotters fun radar (mixed metaphors I know) - I got precisely zero 'hits.' All the same, my earnings for that day were precisely 0.1 - and it wasn't even my sole post! If we're not allowed to know how much our individual posts are earning, how do we know we're even being paid at all? How do we know they're not just saying that to keep us signing in?! A couple of days I posted multiple posts - none breaking any rules, I'm never rude and always add a legit comment to the discussion - and got nothing at all in my 'in' box! I come here for the 'craik' not the money so it's no skin off my nose, but how can this be fair???

I think so, myLot is fair. Means, when I do not contribute to the discussion I will not get some pennys. Hoho, that is fine on me because this is how this site work. The more we contribute, the more we earn money. Happy myLotting!

In my own view,mylot is very fair.After all,there are few forums like mylot giving rewards to us.Here we can give speechs freely and make different friends .I don't understand why other people say mylot is unfair.We want only happiness and laughter.

Well, I guess everyone's opinion of fair is different, but when you sign up for mylot the guidelines and TOS and FAQ are all made available to you. You know what you're getting into if you read what's provided at sign-up. If a person doesn't think it's fair, they're free to leave. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm a very blunt spoken person.

yeah..as for now i believed that mylot is just fair to its member..i just don't know what other members are experiencing regarding their encounter on this website..but for me as for now..so far they are just fair in regarding with rating comments, discussions and reply....i think i'm deserving to received such rate as my rate today..

I think its quite fair as since we don't know exactly how much we earn per post its more fun to stay here. Also I have been member of other forums also and there are lots of restrictions on posting front there and I have to say I am happy with myLot. Though I didn't earn so much from myLot but the amount I earned from other sites referred my Mylot members helped a lot and hope new members can also trust the site and stick to it. Have a nice day!

I don't see any unfairness here at myLot. All the terms and conditions are spelled out in the site's TOS and FAQ. All we need to know are there. It does not mean that because the site did not give all the details about how they pay each post that they are not fair. There are things that needs to be keep for business proprietary reasons. For example, will it be wise for a restaurant to share it's in-house best seller recipe? Also, it is very clear that myLot treats people equally, whether you are brown, black, white, yelllow. Your gender or your economic status does not even mean a thing to the site. Lastly, I don't see nor read any complaints of people not getting their payment from myLot. If their are non-payments, there are valid explanations which are usually fair implementation of rules and regulations.

I do think that mylot is absolutely fair. I defend their decision not to assign a fixed amount for every post because that would make the quality suffer. For example, if they said that they would offer two cents for each post, then people would not really care about what they are writing. They would post any crap just for the sake of earning money and the entire website would be a complete mess. I think the way the system is working presently is fine, because it encourages all of us to put up quality content.

I used to be on Mylot before and wished I would of never deleted my old account. This is my only second day on here and I believe it to be very fair. At first (will admit this as well), there was five cent per reply to a discussion and a 10 cent if you make a discussion. I also heard alot about different discussions about the money also, From what I'm heard it's "the longer you write, the more money you will get." Not sure if that is a rumor or not. I haven't been a member for long, however I did read all their FAQ's. Overall they seem pretty fair and straightfoward in what you should expect from them. I personally have been on many forums and discussion blogs, and it's been for free. I think it is a pretty good idea to be able to post and comment on discussions and get a little extra cash as well. I spend a pretty good chunk of my day online for free so this is a step up.

Sure, I think mylot is fair. The admins and moderators are doing all of the work and, really, all we're doing is having a good time starting and responding to discussions. I enjoy participating here and believe the compensation is fair considering the amount of time I put in to a discussion or a response.

Hey there! Hhhhmmm., I admit, I have some doubts too. You know, because the payment or earnings are not automatically updated and you don't know how much you really earn from your posts. You will have to wait till the next day to know it. And sometimes you get disappointed because you expect to earn higher but it was otherwise. But I definitely believe that mylot is legit. I think it is fair!!! I don't know it depends if u just make more u get paid more so, yeah i think it is pretty fair !!!

I like the way things are here. I think there are a few little things that are bothersome but that's more people related then site related. I find the pay out and treatment to be fair. I think the people who have issues either don't want to work at all or those who don't live in places where they can get paid.

I think mylot is very fair in all areas of the site. I am really happy with the site and the staff. They work very hard to keep these discussions under control. Even with problems, they have sorted out my problem I had just under a month ago which was no fault of my own. But I won't see the results of the sorted problem until a couple of weeks. If I had to rate the whole site and staff who run the site, I would give them 10 out of 10. I would think that if other people are saying that mylot is not fair, it may be because that the other sites do pay more than mylot. But will they survive on a higher pay rate. Or will they have to reduce their payrate to keep their site going.

I haven't been myloting that long, but have been a member for 3 weeks. I haven't had any problems with mylot. One thing I wish is that one could cash out sooner than a month. Sometimes we have bills, or need of the money with in the month. But, otherwise I am having a great time on MyLot, and have met so many wonderful and helpful people. great topic.
