If you ran away from home where would you go? To sea? To find fame and fortune or just to be somewhere else? I know that if I did I'd run straight to my friends' houses. Good job for them I'm not thinking of it!

I can think of worse places to run to. What attracts you to the UK?

Well, maybe we should make sure you are not going to be thinking about it at the same time I am, because I was thinking I would run away to your house!

Let's see.....England, Texas, Tennessee, are the ones I can think of first. Oh, yes! And Canada!!! But if I didn't know any of you, (ouch, the thought of that HURTS)I'd go to New Mexico. I want to go there and feel the power of the earth. New Mexico is a very powerful place, lots of spirits there. And the beauty of it! Surely you've seen Georgia O'Keefe's paintings that were inspired by it. Beautiful! And yes you are thinking of it! It's almost Spring, p1key! School! College! University! ;;;;rubs hands together, laughing crazily;;;;

I don't know anything about New Mexico really Nova. It's a kind of uncharted area for me. You'll have to tell me about it. Otherwise, we'll met up in St Louis and travel together.

If I had to run away, I would probably to into the mountains somewhere with a mild climate so I could live off the land year-round. Because if I ran away I'd be running from someone I didn't want to find me and that's the best thing I can think of. But not being practical anymore, right now I'd like to run away to a warm beach with a free hotel room where I can see and hear the surf at night. I'd so love to float around in a warm ocean, gather shells and feel the warm (not hot!) sun.

Maybe you could have a couple of weeks on the beach before climbing into the mountains. Build a home on top of a hill where you can see the sea and you almost have the best of both worlds!

To my very own island, just off the coast of Scotland. No-one would follow me there, it would be too cold. I would make my own rules and invite people I liked but only when I wanted company. I may have to take my grandsons though as I would miss them too much.

Madhouse is right - being able to imagine it , no chance. Treble the volume about 3 times what you imagine and the actual words about 100 times and you might be closer to the mark! xxx

Thank-you. Panicking does make everything worse. Yes you are right. Last month I put all the papers in an order. And have set priority's. This month I paid almost all the payments that I could not pay last month. But it is the credit card bills that are killing me. Know I am only behind one month rent. I don't know how I do it, but somehow I manage to pay it. But I put money on the credit card and have to take it off to pay the other bills. It is like there is no end. The bill's have all added up to almost 20,000 euro's. I need to win the lottery! Then through out my credit cards! But, yes I will try to stop panicking. That does not help my back problems either. Take care, and thank-you.

I have been there. Trust me, sit down, work out exactly what the problem is, divide it into priority order and then and address it piece by piece. You can work it out. Panicking just makes you feel worse. Good luck.

May I suggest that you focus on one card. Make minimum payments on the others but work hard on the one that you are trying to be rid of. Once that's gone you start on the next etc. That way you actually do reduce your debt and you can get rid of an entire card. Just a thought. Seek advice if you can too. Sharing your worries does help.

LOL. That happened to me once in a pub! We were in a pub, illegally and the Deputy Headmaster caught us. He was a terrifying man and we thought that we would get expelled. Instead, he bought us all half a pint of shandy and told us to go back to school!!! He could do no wrong in our eyes thereafter!

I'd probably head to the Kent coast where I spent lots of happy childhood summers (I know it wouldn't be too hot at the moment, but never mind), or to Canterbury where I lived as a student. I know it won't be the same without my friends there, but I've been there a few times since and it's a lovely town and I know that I'd still enjoy living there again. It's so pretty and has a great atmosphere. Another place I think would be a great place to escape to is Cornwall. So beautiful and inspirational. But if I were just leaving home for a little while; (say an afternoon, lol) I would escape to the cinema! Cinemas are one of my favourite places to be, and I'd be quite happy spending an afternoon there. Especially as I hardly ever get the chance nowadays.

Far far away to a land that is sunny and happy and the kids all are somewhere else. My friends would take me in but most of them have what I'd be running from.... Kids and husbands. I once said I needed a vacation. 4 hours later I was in the E.R. for the start of a 5 day stay in the hospital after emergency surgery. Do you know what mess i had to straighten when I got home? I will never ever ask for a vacation again.... ever!

Hmm. Good question. I'd go with some far off hut somewhere in Tibet. Just a place to get away from all the regular world, to detox from the rough of life, perhaps to put back perspective. Of course, knowing where his Holiness is today, more realistically I'd run away to India. I adore the culture, the people, and would love to spend time with his Holieness if at all possible. Yes, I know. At least he was welcome in India with open arms. He has been up here to Minnesota twice since my moving here in 2005, but both sessions were closed to doctor's and staff only. I did get to see a video feed through my husband's work place though and wow-I can't imagine what the energy is like being around him because just watching him on the hospital feed was incredible!

Sikkim Hills - A Paradise On Earth
If I ran away ever I would love to come back ti Sikkim here wher for the time being I am living, its simply beautiful and like a paradise with miles and miles of hilsl and wilderness stretched from horizon to horizin. i hope I get to spend end days of my life here and am reborn here too. Its a beautiful countryside with water falls runnning on the roads and simple people with no crime. Infact they pride themselves for their honesty. Its a must place to see if you want to see heaven.

I love the sea too Pots. I am fortunate to live only about 40 minutes from it and I often pop down, especially in winter, to watch the swirling, choppy water. In summer I even go in it occasionally. However, I have to watch out for whaling boats. I don't want to get harpooned!!
