How many of you sleep with your eyeglasses on by accident?

I do. For the past week, I have been taking them off and putting them on the desk table. That way, I won't end up falling asleep in them. I have had a bad habit of this for many years now.. It is a habit that I really am trying to break. So, who else is guilty of this? The only way that I can keep this from happening is to take them off just as soon as I lay in the bed. This will stop any and all damages..

Well I hve never did that, I am afraid I will break them and they cost to much money to get a new pair or get them repaired. Have anice day!

Hello cream. I don't sleep with my glasses on because it will damage my glasses if I do so. Also I don't feel comfortable with them on. Therefore I usually place my glasses next to my bed table for me to get my glasses easily when I get up. Take care of your glasses, dear friend.

Take care of your glasses - this is a good advice to remember if you are a first timer.

Hi cream dear! Fortunately, I don't really wear eyeglasses. The reading glass that I usually rarely borrow is my husband's. I do agree with you that you should take them off as soon as you will go to bed just to be sure that you won't forget. Take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

I never, but quite often I would be looking for my glasses, when they are very nearby. Glasses help us to see better, but are really something we have to take care all the time. They are expensive, and cause inconvenience esp in winter. Contact lenses are alternative, but hard to accept for me.

I've done it a few times in the past but since they are so expensive to replace when they end up broken I try not to do it. The only times it really happens is when I get overtired and fall asleep in my chair...which thankfully isn't very often. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I used to do it as a matter of course, as I do not see clearly at all without my glasses I found it easier to just keep them on and then if I awoke I would not have to struggle to locate them on the desk. One time I rolled on them though and they broke... I can not afford new glasses so I must now make sure I take them off each night.

Well I've done it a time or two, but I always make sure I take them off when I'm going to bed, unless I'm planning on doing some reading, but I take them off when I'm ready to go sleep. I think its funny to fall asleep with your glasses on...haha.

I have done it, lol. I have to take them off the minute I lay down, too, or I'll fall asleep with them on. I have also worn them in the shower by accident more than once. LOL. I get in, they get wet, and I am like, why can't I see? ...oh. LOL. Then I feel really dumb.

I never wear glasses when I want to sleep, even a short rest. But sometimes I sleep with my contact lenses and when I wake I feel rather awful in my eyes.

Hello. It has happened to me many times already. I have fallen asleep in my bed with my glasses still on but I did not break them. Good thing though. I felt like my dream was clear. Lol. We should be careful in handling our glasses because if it gets broke, we would spend again just for it to be fixed, which sometimes leads to buying new frames already because of the damage our glasses had.

I never do this unless I am studying something really boring and just fall asleep at my desk or some other painful place. In bed even though I watch TV as I go to sleep, I take my glasses off. I don't generally need to see at home though anyway so I will often take them off as soon as I walk in the door.

That only happened when i first wore the eyeglasses on me. Only way to break that habit is to unloose your glasses while you are eating or sleeping, you may placed the eyeglasses on a desk or best in a drawer for its safety. If you put it on your desk , do not let your pet be closed to it or they would wear them. hehehe
