I personally do not like it when people are talking on the phone or texting while they are driving. I do not fell that they are paying close attention to the road while they are doing this. I personally will not answer my phone while i am driving. if I want to talk on my phone or text I will pull off the road some where safe for myself and other drivers and then talk on the phone. Happy mylotting.

i dont see talking all that bad, but i wont do it for long, i usually answer tell them im driving and call them back. however, texting is way worse since you have to look to text and that is way more dangerous. i see how your feeling and i understand.

I don't think it is a bad thing if you just answer and tell them you will call them back, but really gets me is the texting and then caring on a whole conversation well a person is driving. I am not sure if it is all over the place but where I live they just passed a law that it is illegal to text while you are driving and they are trying to pass a law about talking on cell phones well driving also.

They sure are risking their lives and threatening the other drivers lives as well.it is a bad habit to speak on phone while driving. And texting is more worse than it.Even after the repeated advice of not using cell phones while driving,it is very sad to see more people continuing this.I think there should be severe penalties imposed on such users!

If it is urgent to talk on the phone then I understand that. I did not know that india thinks of a cell phone as richness. I just learned something. thanks for your response. Happy mylotting. Jacci

It happened to me once while I was driving. My phone rang and I let my husband answered my phone. It was my friend and I can really tell as a first time driver it is really hard to talk or text while driving because your attention is divided. My husband do that most of the time while driving. Talk or text and it annoys me sometimes though I knew he is a good driver. That's why sometimes I ask him to do the texting for him while he is driving...lol

I think a very brief conversation is not so bad, but a long conversation and texting while driving are both things that I am against. They cause the driver too much distractiona nd as a result, many accidents; If my cell phone rings while I am driving and it isn't my Mom or my husband, I don't bother answering it, I will wait until I am stopped, then return the call. I will not text while driving at all, it is just way too risky for me to do.

i think every coin has two side.Talking or text while you are driving is ,indeed, dangerous, which probably causes traffic accident,I have just read of a statistic indicates that more than 45% traffic accident are related to talking or text while driving, but, conversely,if you didnot answer the calls, maybe you would not get important information about yourself or your family, such as your father is sick, your children are lost ,or something like these ,which is so vital to you that you would regret that you have not known them earlier

I think they are not only putting their own lives in danger but everyone around them. Driving a car takes a lot of concentration and attention and you can't give that if your playing with your cellphone.
