Hello all, I am a stay at home mom of 3, and I know a little something about a hectic lifestyle. I have 1 child in primary, one in elementary, and one in junior high. So it keeps me really busy going between the 3 schools, and then adding thier after school activities. So gets to the point where when I do have an empty hour during the day while they are at school, i am trying to get ahead of things, like planning thier outfits for the following day, prepping dinner for the week, etc. So now, when I do make time for myself, I'm not sure what to do with it...lol What do you do for yourself, when you get some time to just be with yourself?

I like to keep a favorite book near where I sit down so that maybe I can get a few pages or if I'm lucky a chapter read in one sitting.
I love DVD's because they don't lose their place when you have to shut them off.
It's nice to just go out of the house and take a walk or walk through the mall if there is more time. Sometimes a little drive in the country for a few minutes is just the ticket.
I find that if I try to have a relaxing bath, chances are the water is not even in the tub before an interruption comes up. If I actually get in, I usually can't finish a good soak. I guess it's showers until those lovely gifts are on their own.
Most generally I try to find something that can be interrupted and then picked back up later. That's why MyLot is a good diversion.

I can totally relate to the interruptions during a hot bath..lol I ask each and everyone of my kids if they are done with the bathroom, before i even go in there, and lo and behold while the water is still running, one of them is knocking saying they forgot they had to pee.....lmao
