Who has a lot of snow by them today? We are expecting around 10 inches. Right now we have about 6 inches and it seems to be slowing down but we will see. It is so pretty, here in the woods of Pennsylvania. I am glad that I am home to enjoy it and do not have to work driving in it.
I attached a photo that I took earlier. My car looks like there is not much but my husband had cleaned it off to go to the store and that is about an hour's worth of accumulation.

It is spring here so we have warmer weather but not hot, but for a few days here and there and a lot of rain. April showers bring May flowers!! LOL
It is raining here today and will be all week. It is not April anymore but I do not think that Mother Nature realizes it!! LOL

I live in a tropical country. No snow here.In rainy season we enjoy heavy shower.I like to enjoy snow fall.In our neighboring country India there is a state named Himachal. That is like yours Pennsylvania.I have a wish to visit Himachal. There I shall enjoy snow fall. But heavy rain hasĀ another charm.Nobel prize winner the great poet Rabindranath Tagore wrote many poems on rain.

Rain. I remember a young student who said, "Rain is how God washes the world!" I love it. I love a warm, rainy day but not the cold ones.
Snow is just pure beauty, plain and simple.

This discussion is started 6 months back and I hope you are having some good bright days there now. Just a day ago I started a discussion about snow. we are virtually roasting in the heat here and I really want to see snow now. Our part of the world has never seen snow. In the extreme north though, in the Himalayan belt there's lot of snow. i really wish I could see snow now.
Be well and have fun.

Good day nanajanet!!! I come from the country that doesn't snow, I just arrived here in the US six months ago, and it is snowing here now, the worst I guess, it never snowed here like this sinced I arrived, most of the times, I just saw flurries,. I used to ask for a heavy snow, I keep on telling my husband about it, and he keep on telling me that he doesn't like it specially we don't have a garage to park our car, so this morning my husband and I went out, and I did the scraping on the car....My husband teasingly asked me if I still love snow... Obviously I had the wrong impression...and I almost slipped... Didnt have the faintiest idea that snow can be so aggravating!

You know what they say? Be careful what you wish for.... you may get it!! LOL
It all depends as if you are going to work, it is a pain, but if you are playing in it or your work depends on it, then it is good.
I live near a small ski resort and they are thrilled when it snows!! Of course, if it remains cold enough, they do have snow making machines but this saves them work and money if it is snowing.
