It's the same for me...or actually more because now with the economy being the way it is there are more rebates, coupons etc that stores are trying to lure loyal customers to stay with them. In fact I've had several stores tell me that they will accept expired coupons....Fine with me!!! LOL So how about you guys?

I haven't been using coupons that much since I am being more concious of what I am purchasing. I have found that alot of generic items are just as good as brand names and they are cheaper even if I used coupons on the brand names. I still clip them and if there is a good sale, I will use them, but not more then before.

Also some products have benefits or clubs benefits...if you enter their product codes they rack up points for you to cash in for coupons. I have a Nature Made one coming in the mail for $5 off. And I use it with the buy one get one free deal my local grocery does, I get it practically free.

Watch for sale items that you have coupons for. You can often get these items free or nearly free. I agree that many generics are just as good as name brands. If I don't have a coupona nd the item isn't on sale I will buy the cheapest product, woch is ofter a generic brand. I've been writing to the companies of products I use most, telling them how much I enjoy their product. I've gotten some very good coupons to use at the store for these products. I've even gotten free product coupons. Free is always a good thing.

I dabbled in coupons once in awhile, but not the way I am doing it now. Coupons are like money in the pocket. The more I use, the more I save. I've been preparing for a major grocery shopping day tomorrow, and I can guarantee I have about $20.00 in Coupons that I'll be using. I can't wait to get the savings that others are achieving just by using coupons. They are definitely worth the time you put into them.

I started clipping coupons more. I also I always checked out on coupons.com. I dont mind doing it because it saves me money and cuts down our grocery spendings. I remember, last december, kroger sent our coupons for free bread, free eggs, free pilsbury cinnamon rolls, free gatorade and lots of $1 off. I saved a lot that time. I also love collecting coupons for restaurant and fast food.

Krogers is the best!!! I know tomorrow is Senior day (10% off). My mom looks forward to this day and we combine shopping to get the max deals. They have the best offers with their Kroger Plus cards and coupons they send. We have three in our area and they are expanding like crazy....two now offer gas pumps where it's alwasy ten cents less. Let's go Krogering...

You people in the United States are lucky in that you get way more coupons and incentive programs than we do in Canada. Here they have them of course but not as many. When you go to the store they sometimes treat you as if you are poor or are trying to pull a scam, as if the discount is coming out of their own pocket. A lot of the stores here will no longer accept internet coupons as well as there has been so much fiddling with dishonest consumers so the rest of us have been cut off. I live in Canada by the way. I have slowly been using more coupons. Sometimes I can combine them with sales and get food half price. I cannot afford to pay full price for everything anymore. Very rarely you can get stuff for free or very little money. One of the problems with coupons is organization. You need a file folder, book with pockets, or some other way of categorizing your finds and being able to pull them out when needed. It can get overwhelming and a lot of people do not bother.

I got my coupon holder from the Dollar General website...it was a promo when you signed up with the site and it's a nice one...velcro, vinyl and expandable with loads of cards and stickers for the organizing. And yes we are fortunate here. But there are some stores still in the US that will not accept internet coupons and some that will not accept coupons at all.

Stores that accept expired coupons!!!! Dang... I wanna know where!!!! I just threw out about 20 $1 off lean pockets coupons that got lost in my drawer....aack! I am a coupon clipper and proud of it. I also rebate, rebate, rebate and I haunt stores that have notoriously good clearance sales and rebate sales. You can almost MAKE money that way....almost. I get some stuff free on rebate that I end up selling on a rummage sale because we had no actual use for it.... so I do make a little back. I track good offers on products that I can use as gifts for my kids, too. Like the free movies on the Kellogg's boxes. Free T shirts, free toys, etc. It's only a great deal if they don't charge you the shipping and handling, though. Deal shopping can be fun if you let it be.

I think they mainly do it because they know me, you know the whole loyal customer is always right thing. I practically grew up in the store. It's where my mother shopped, etc. They're awesome. And you can't beat service like this. And it is fun. I have a blast when I add things up and realize how much I got for what I spent.

I'm not really coupon clipping. I have always used a few coupons, but there aren't really very many good ones around me.

I was clipping coupons before and I'm still clipping them now. I love to save money wherever I can especially since I'm in school, essentially jobless at this point and will be graduating soon. I've always thought that using coupons was a good idea and I think they're even a better idea now!

i actually dont clip coupons unless they are for a larger amount of an item (75 cents or more) because i generally find that the store brand is much cheaper than the more expensive brand even with the cents off coupon! so thats why i dont use coupons much.

I think it's more for me because I would pay more attention to "coupons" and if I see anything useful for me, I would definitely cut it out and use it. Before, I didn't care that much.

Ralphs/Kroger will let you load coupons onto your ralphs club card, and then print out a summary. last time i did that , apparently the cleark had never seen them before, she spent a lot of time sorting the coupons looking for the ones i had e-clipped.

I am definately clipping more coupons than i used to. Mainly because I never used to really even think about it. Now i'm looking to save money any way I can. So, if i am going to buy something that I need, I do my best to find a coupon for it. It all adds up, right? It's just harder to find coupons for alot of the things I use on a regular basis. The other thing I have been doing is going to company websites of things I use and see if they are offering coupons or even free trial stuff.

I use them more than I use to. I would use them even more than I do now if my store accepted internet printed coupons. There's no way I could get away with even trying to pass an expired coupon at my store. We have coupon nazis that look over every single coupon you use. I wouldn't use an expired coupon on purpose anyway, but sometimes I forget to check the date before I use them. These cashiers catch them everytime.

My friends laugh at me and call me the cupon queen, they save cupons for me, and I even get them online and mailed to me and what not. These days I am always for ways to squeeze a little bit more out of my dollar being a single mother of two children. So for me I have been using them more, and I get really excited when they have the cupons right there in the store!
