Will you say goodbye?

If you are leaving, and you're not even sure if you would still come back, will you say goodbye to your ex-husband? What if he was the father of your daughter but he doesn't give any support, financially, emotionally and even physically, and you're no longer on speaking terms? If you know that you still love him but he chooses to hurt you and your child by choosing another woman, would you even dare say goodbye to him?

For me i guess for formality sake. since he is the father of my child. even he doesnt give support but we cannot change the fact that he is still a part of my life. i would tell him that we are leaving and we will be fine wherever we maybe. that hope he will be happy and be contented of what he have. And i would thank him for giving me a wonderful daughter. :)

I'm leaving alone for now, but maybe a year after my daughter will follow. Will it still be a good idea for me to say goodbye to him? When we are still on speaking terms, I've asked him what would he feel if I suddenly leave without ever informing him. He told me that he would be hurt, however, right now he was committed to someone else and we're not talking anymore. I'm afraid that if I inform him about my plans, he'll just shrug his shoulders and say "I don't give a damn".... hahaha.. I dunno...

I would say goodbye if I wasn't sure when I would return. If he doesn't do any form of support to his child then why should he have the right to be in her life? He keeps hurting you and your daughter, I would leave him. My mom did.
