Yesterday was the best day!

I really must try that one day Nova. I would be so self-conscious, especially with you. We've not really spoken have we. I guess that we would find something to talk about if we tried hard enough! LOL.

I don't talk to people from here, outside here. Seriously, you are all just faceless, nameless, somethings that pop up on my computer screen everyday. OMG! Nova, I am jealous! Isn't he too cute!?

This is such a freaky coincidence Nova, 'cos I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday! I chatted with this funny, witty, highly intelligent, bubbly and absolutely wonderful lady on Skype for almost 2 hours! The amazing thing about it all was that I felt an instant kinship as if we had known each other for years! I was a bit concerned throughout the chat though because there was this ladder precariously hovering in the background and I was so afraid it would fall! Thankfully it didn't fall and last I heard, it'd been moved, so I'm very relieved indeed. I enjoyed myself immensely and am very much looking forward to the next chat! The whole experience got me thinking too..... We all know of the "evils" the internet can bring, but what of all these wondrous positives like yesterday? Think about the doors technologies like these can open or people that in the past had no means to reach out to others instantly, or were sad and depressed with no-one to turn to! Now a whole new world has opened up and truly created a global village of sorts! Timeless, no distance limitations, direct and personal and even free! Think of the many people in this world that may have had their very lives changed just from the closeness the internet has been able to create! Thank you for being you Nova.

LOL I have spoken to a quite a few mylot friends on the phone and a special few on Skype - specially p1ke, who as you say is truly amazing and the bestest friend any of us 'lovelies' could wish for! I didn't have a webcam though so I could see friends but they couldn't see me, which is quite good as I hate cameras! lol I do have an integrated webcam on my new laptop but i am not usre how to use it and I think I would be struck dumb if I tried to - just that fear of camera thingy! lol Hugs xxxxx

I chat with some online friends on either Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger. Haven't gotten into Skype yet. I do have a webcam at home and a lot of good it is doing sitting in the box. Can't use one at work. The firewall blocks them.

Hey that is great Nova, I would never have the guts to do that. I would feel to self conscious about talking to someone like that. I don't have Skype anyhow though. I have heard it is great but never have tried it. Well, Good luck and I hope you get to know alot more mylotians..

That is nice that you two talk regularly. I don't have skpe. I do have a web-cam and a microphone but they are not hooked up.

yes Shirl i have talked to you but how do U talk to other myloters on skype and times are very hard to communicate with people.

Whoah, I did that about 10years ago, where've you been? hehehe.. Anyways, I have great friends in yahoo. We originally met there, we are 6 all in all in different countries and different time zones. It was amazing because we'd set time for all of us to meet online at once, we'd go for conferences where we'd use voice, it's amazing because we'd all laugh because we don't understand each other anymore with everyone grabbing the mic all at once! It's was great and though we're no longer at it that much, we still do meet up once in a while just to chitchat, we've been friends for 10years now, and we're trying to set up a day to meet in real, whew! it proves to be tough though, having to meet up from different countries in one place. But sure we'll make it work! Good luck to you. Seems as if you're in love with your buddy. You can't deny it though, it's written all over your post!

Sorry, my dear, I only have dialup, no webcam, no microphone, so it does't look like Skype is gonna happen for me anytime soon. I wish Bell would get us high speed out here. The gov't has a rural broadband internet grant they are giving to every County, so we might get Wireless High Speed. My rep at the Township tells me if anything was going to come of it, we will find out by June/July of this year. If not, I may just take the leap to Satellite, we'll see. If I do, YOU and P1key will be the first 2 on my list to skype with, promise. Plus, I just bought my daughter a brand new laptop and inherited the desktop model that I bought her as a present for getting into University. It is way better than my current computer with a lovely LCD Flat screen which I am looking forward to switching to. I got her computer delivered here a couple of days ago, but she forgot to send along the flash drive (that I lent her) for me to transfer all my files from one to the other. So, it looks like next week before I may be able to transition computers, even. I'll have a look at it when I get it switched and see if it is any faster than my current one for Skype. Or can you even do it with dialup? OH, and as I was reading on the first page, your bantering with Bo in her response and I have one word that I feel describes you perfectly.....VIVACIOUS! That is what I see in you. Sexy, curvy and womanly like Marilyn Monroe. And I think Marilyn Monroe was the most beatiful of all. But not just in the physical sense. It is in your personality as well.
