To me it is God, fortune and destiny. I don't believe in either of them and have to bow down to them because of my mom as she respects all these terms a lot. What is the greatest lie people continue to believe and get fooled?

Well what I feel its the urge to earn and to live happily, I feel happiness comes only from within, and as more and more we get into these riches...We make our lives complex...And that, can never help, Happy Mylotting!!!

I believe the biggest lie is the government and you can get fooled a lot by anyone in government... I, myself do depend on God, I believe in God, I trust in God and I love my God.. I will never be able to even remotely think there is no God, He is there, and I believe, trust and can't even take my next breath without Him.. Destiny is something else that I believe, because good or bad, we are all destined to some type of life as long as we live.. Our Destiny isn't always guaranteed to be something good, but we all are destined for something or the other.. Fortune is out there and can be obtained but it is more obtainable to some more than others and that is something that I don't always understand.. So my greatest belief, and it is no lie, I believe in God..

Those are your opinions of a lie. A lie has to be proven to be false to be a legit lie. Just because you don't believe in God, does not make Him not real. And not believing in something does not amount to what you refer to as a 'lie'.

i will tell u one thing there are many things in this world in which we believe and not all of them come true, but if u have faith in them and u r determined then u will never be fooled, same is true about God, if u have faith then HE will show u such strange things in life that u never even can dream. If you feel that u are fooled by believing in HIM then u should not follow blindly just because your mother has faith in HIM, just remove that pressure from mind and see then God will also never fool u.

Hi coolmailraj, I think we have to remember that what is a lie for one person is the truth for another, also remember that our beliefs are not always the same in all stages of our life. I could never believe in the God that most people believe in and I can understand why you would reject such a God as well. You are thinking and I give you a lot of credit for that, we all have the right to believe as we choose. As a young person remember that the sky is the limit and never give up on your dreams. Belief in yourself and your ability is the greatest thing you can have right now and you do not have to worry about God, fortune or destiny. Don't be surprised though if you change your mind about some things later in life, but then you may not. Blessings my friend.

I'm with you on this one. Religion is the biggest lie ever foisted on people. It's purpose is control and exploitation.

That someone they love loves them, that their spouse is not cheating, that you are going to win the lottery. It's nice to dream of winning the lottery though.

I think that all the politicians are telling us one huge lie when they say the end of the economic crisis is just around the corner. They say it to buck up our spirits and our enthusiasm but where is the proof behind this? It is, in my opinion, an organised lie and they have all conspired together to tell us that it will end at the end of this year, the beginning of next year or whatever. That is not the case at all!

Hi coolmailraj, The greatest lie to me is the goverment, they promise you things will better whern they get in power but each party is the same, they are too busy lining their own pockets while everyone else gets poorer, the politicians are the biggest liars so I don't belive in them or vote for any of them. Each of us has our own beliefs and only we can change them. I cannot tell another what is real or what is unreal, I have only limited resources the same as all humans. What I mean is the human cannot smell that someone who is lost has been there but the dog, who is some much better equipped to do so, smells that he was there. So all of us are limited. So I never take anything as fact that cannot change. It's hard to fool me for long.

I agree with ceci2176. There must be something controlling the universe, goodness knows we, as humans have very little control and the idea that we must fit a certain mould and belong to a specific package e.g. perfect body, house, car etc...in order to be happy. You can have all those things and learn otherwise, none of it is real. You don't need to fit a perfect mould to be happy.
