What is your favorite house pet?

i like most animals. i just dont like snakes.

My favorite house pets are hamsters and cats. They were so eat to take care of, for the most part. Now, with the hamsters, jus as long as they don't get loose. They can be a booger to catch.

I think that all pets are great and bring so much love to a family. I have a miniature schnauzer right now and he is a major part of our family. He sists and waits for the boys to get home from school and smuthers them with love when they do.

When l stayed at my old house, l had both cat and dog as my family pet. They are very friendly and obedience. l had taught them not to piss inside the house and they did. That's why, l really loved them alot. Both of them lived up to 10 years plus before they left this world. Since they left this world, we felt very sad and decided not to have any pet anymore..

Dogs. I used to live alone in my family home in the country, and somebody gave me a puppy . Lovely dog,really. I was also keeping some broilers, and oft times during the night I had to check if the temperature was right, for the day-old chicks. My dog, Chingazee, would follow me to the shed, wait for me and curl up in front of my bedroom door.Many other memories, but it would take a whole book!

I have had dogs and cats, but i prefer cats. Cats are easier to take care of: all they need is a litter box, food, water, and a lot of love. They can give a lot of love in return.

My two favorite house pets are a cat and a rabbit. They are both easy to clean up after and a cat will show you a lot of affection. Dogs in the house are stinky and smelly and if they are not spayed or neutered they can destroy your house and possessions.

I have been raised owning the following animals: cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, and chinchillas. I would have to say that my favorites of these two are... cats.. AND dogs. I know there are people out there who are firmly one type of person or the other (i.e. hardcore fans of cats and just-as-fervent enthusiasts for the canines), but I can't bring myself to choose which one I love over the other. Some days I will have a preference, but both have such wonderful things to offer. Let's look at cats, for example. Raised correctly, they're quiet, small, easily portable, can survive in an apartment (important, since I'll be living in apartments for some time to come), easy to clean up after for the most part, and very intelligent. They're good for cuddles and someone to play with, and live a relatively long time. However, then you have dogs. When I was two, my parents bought me a German Shepherd for a companion and guardian, and I've been in love with them ever since; the bigger, the better. There's something heartwarming about coming home to a fiercely wagging tail, or having them protect you from the mailman, or what-have-you. They also make for lovely foot-warmers. I honestly can't pick between the two; thus, why I say both are my favorites.

many people like cats, dogs, rabbits and some people like birds also. but, in my opinion dog is very excellent pet. it has some maintenance cost depending upon the type of dog but it will be very nice.

I don't have a pet currently. But during my childhood, I used to keep a dog. I think a dog is the best pet that one can have. It instantly become your friend and the way it shows faithfulness towards its owner is amazing.

Cats are easier to take care of, but I love a dog!! They have a better back bone, and most love a lot of attention unlike most cats.

I love dogs! They are my favorite everyday pet. We just got a new puppy which we all love having around the house. We enjoy taking her places with us and kids especially love taking her to the park to play or running around with her. I always had dogs growing up. My favorite pet that I had a few years ago though was a skunk. We bought it from a local petstore and it was so interesting to have. I would like to have one now but we have a baby and with the bottles around I dont think it would go very well :)
