Yes I paid for it, but not much, but when I got into the site, they gave me a bunch of related sites to join, at no cost and that was ok, but no where could i find a way to earn any money. Since then I have gotten two phone calls offering to mentor me in this job but I bailed because they wanted to much personal info. Has anything like this happened to you?

my golden rule is never pay for online earning even if its a dollar, if the sites / job as good as it says it is why should you have to pay.
Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience must admit never happened to me but thats because I follow my 1 golden rule he he he
And I have been in mlm (multi level marketing) earning online for about 5 years.
Anyhow good luck and hope it pans out for you.

Well savypat,
at least someone call you to offer you a job, most of the time this are just collection of date, which you could have done on your own for free. Since you have paid then work on the list and at least get what you have already paid for.

l haven't got myself into this kind of problem. lm always a very careful person when l came to deal in money related matter. l always make sure that the job that l took, will really paid me as they had promised and they don't asked too much personal info, as well. Better be careful while earning..

Hopefully, you can request a refund from them. If you can, do it immediately. Don't wait any longer. Those places do not offer real jobs. I know a few places where you can find legitimate jobs, if you are looking online. Jobs you do not have to pay for.

No, it doesn't happen to me because I am not paying for the job I applied online. Maybe they will just do that to people who pay thinking that you are very
interested in everything that they offered that involves money. That is definitely scam. I am always reminded not to pay for anything that you applied online. Those who asked pay are scamers. Beware of them!!!

I signed up for a work at home job once and there was a fee, not that much either and there was supposed to be a full refund if you were not happy with it.
Just like you, after I joined, there were a lot of websites that did not have anything to do with what I had signed up for. When I tried to get a refund, my eamils were ignored and I never got a response back. I learned my lesson, thankfully, I did not lose too much money.

Sorry, but I think you were scammed (happens to us all!). If you want to find legitimate opportunities that won't cost, try my blog www.killfive.com.
There is only one work at home site I know of that has free job listings but you have to watch out because many are scams. The only places to pay for job listings are sites like Elance, Guro or Soho jobs.
Good luck in the future. Don't give up the dream, though. With hard work, you can make it happen.

Sorry to hear that Savypat, but anything that involves investing money before earning, i am out of it, i won't buy it at all. I think that you should not give any detailed information about you nor about bank details.
If you want a job online, you can try Odesk for it. They don't have any fees required. All you have to do is register and read their instructions and rules regarding taking jobs. Happy Mylotting!

I signed up for an online business website called Underground Cash Secret a couple of months ago and the same thing happened to me. It gave me a bunch of related sites that I had to pay a lot of money for if I wanted to continue and "eventually" make money. I'd say for the most part, unless you're willing to pay a lot of money in good faith to get started, these websites are a scam.

Oh yes. That's why I won't do it anymore. If it costs you, it's not real. Try www.odesk.com (NOT a referral) You sign up with them, you can post a resume, take tests (no cost) and so on. Then you can bid on jobs. That means how much pay you're willing to accept for a particular job.
If one of your 'buyers' wants you to give them money before hiring you, report them to odesk. That buyer will be terminated. They don't charge you any money. If you do get hired, then after you're paid they take 10%. They haven't cheated me. It is hard learning all the different things though. If you have any computer skills or writing skills, check it out. Good Luck!!
