I never really thought about this, i have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half so do you consider that to be a long term relationship? Or a relationship maybe 5 or 10 years into the relationship? I was wondering as i have read this questions elsewhere.

personally i consider that a long term relationship because I usually never date someone for that long. I think it mostly depends on how long you usually date someone as compared to how long you've been dating the person you're currently with.

For me 1 year is a long term relationship, cause it's not easy now a days you see relationship can last that long, and very few are serious with their relationship that is why it doesn't last that long. No relationship is perfect, as long as you can work it out. So I can say a year is considered a long term relationship. Have a nice day to you!

I would definitely consider that a long term relationship. When you are seeing someone exclusively for more than six months in my opinion is a long term relationship.

I would consider it a long term relationship given that most people rarely make it to the 6 month date. I also agree with one of the comments above about it being based on your past relationships. If a year is long for you then yes i would definately consider it long term.
