Friends i think gmail can defeat yahoo mails and gmail can go to no.1 site.
yes because gmail emails load fast and it easy to navigate.Just click and the mail will be displayed
in yahoo when we click the email link it takes about 3-4 seconds and when we send a new page open it also takes some time.so i think gmail is best for me

I maintain accounts on both mails. I found yahoo mail as convenient maybe because I was using it for a long time. I just started with gmail this year and I found it good too but I am still learning. =)

I like gmail not just because of its speed, but because it is easier to get rid of spam. With Yahoo mail, you are only allowed 100 do not mail, for the free version and since Yahoo Mail has a list only the states of the United States, plus the lists of the APO boxes, and no place to enter anything different, like the province or no "not a citizen of the United States," if you live in Canada, you cannot get the paid version that has longer "do not mail" lists.

That is why I love gmail and I can always go through the spam and see if the mail is not spam (I do subscribe to several newsletters) and once I put them in the address book, it is so much easier. But with Yahoo, they do not have a spam folder, just a bulk folder and for some reason it never worked for me. and I love the labels in gmail.

I've had Yahoo eversince I was in College. I think I did make Gmail account however didn't get to use it often. Heard Gmail has more spaces for files and all. But whichever is fine, but right now, I'd go for Yahoo cause my friends and family have known my Yahoo account, and would be difficult to make a new one again.

Hello chimrani! I never really tried to use gmail so I don't know. I have been a yahoo users since I learned about internet. I am contented and with the service so I won't switch to gmail. Besides, all my friends know my yahoo mail so it's really hard for me to change my email add.

I am using both Yahoo and Gmail for different purpose. Yahoo is for my personal emailing with my friends whereas Gmail is for my online business communications.
Gmail is becoming better with more applications being developed for its user as compared to Yahoo. I foresee Gmail will become the No 1 email service provider in the near future.

I use both gmail and yahoo. I use gmail for my normal personal mail, and yahoo for my junk mail. I make sure to sign up for accounts with my gmail when they are tied to accounts that won't spam me. If there is any question I might receeve mail I don't want, though, I use my yahoo to sign up for the account. It's worked out quite nicely for me so far!

I find that GMail has a better spam filter than Yahoo. I have been using GMail more and more for the important email. Slowly switching over and leaving Yahoo for more of the general emails from various web sites.

I do have both emails and i don't have a problem using them too. Most of my family and friends knows my yahoo email. This account is what i used for signing up to some sites to and some for socializing.
I do use my gmail for sending bigger files to my brothers and family. I do use gmail for my reference in CV and professional thing.
But i do use the two email address with no problems whatsoever in terms of navigation. It is both user friendly to me and has different applications and features that they offer.

hello chimrani, i started to used gmail ago not a long time ago. The features it provides is quite different from what i was familiar with and i've got to get used to it. Most people say the gmail-way is much better than that of a traditional one, maybe i just need some more time...

For me Gmail is better. But there's a little problem. It has too many users, too many intensive messages, so I can't be able to login with my CPU with Wireless Connection. Only the one who got cable can go on it. Please note that I live in Belgium, which is far from their main server. I think this is the only inconvenient of Gmail for me.
