I am encountering a problem regarding my earnings at comparedby.us. I have read about the new blog regarding the 0 balance earnings because all reviews that are submitted will undergo a process where a staff of that site will likewise review those reviews for approval and a potential earning. My question is, what about my referral earnings? Where did it go? It's been a month now since that predicament arises. Until now, I have 0 balance. What happened?

I quit Comparedby.us after Mr. Krawec added in his blog post that they cannot afford to pay out good money for the huge amount of spam that has been entered into their system and that it is one they felt that they had to make in order to ensure that ComparedBy.Us and its legitimate members can survive. I don't understand for my honest "rating" caused my earnings dropped. So, what else I should do? Leg-Off!

In fact in the past I posted a discussion about this website. I found that comparedby.us is a scam. I am already a beginner member there and I am earnest to write the reviews. At first the payment date was delayed. It had many reasons. Then finally they rejected my payment request and even deleted all my reviews. It is a bad scam. I love China

I'm not sure if you've seen the new notice, but compareby.us just reinstated the referral earnings. I've referred two people to this site, and I just got that back. If you're referred people to this site, then as long as they weren't a person that was scamming the site, you should have gotten that earning.

Early January. I had submitted many reviews and rated others' reviews, until such time an editorial blog was submitted, informing us that ratings are no longer paid. Then, after posting more than 10 reviews, another blog is circulating for review limits. After that, our reviews will also be reviewed for approval. What's next?

There are some people who have been paid by CBU but there are a lot more who have failed to get any form of payment from them. I am one of them. When they first started, I wrote 37 reviews for them, and each cost around $2 which means $74 in total. I requested for payment and after more than 1 month, they rejected it saying that my reviews don't sound right and there's no flow whatsoever. To me, this is nonsense since I've an experienced reviewer in ReviewStream and CIAO. Also, I've told them that it's impossible to have all 37 of my reviews (all of them extended reviews) rejected. They said that's the case and told me to correct them and resubmit. But if I failed again, they will ban me from CBU. I told them that that is a very strict rule since there are no explicit guidelines on good reviews. It's very subjective. They told me the second "approval" process will not be that strict. They also told me that I can request to have my account removed if I chose not to resubmit. I told them to remove my account AND my reviews since I am not taking a single cent from them, but those reviews are already up. They did not remove my account and the reviews are still there. To me, they are not honest. That is why I've stopped writing for them anymore, and preferred to work for ReviewStream and CIAO.

That is exactly my point. Very suspicious. Anyways, thank you for sharing your experience on CBU. I would certainly stop submitting reviews if it would be a waste of my time and effort.

Hi joystick! Your claim is huge. I think, CBU had to do something about it. Too bad that it lead this way.

I had the exact same experience with them as you had. The only difference is that I had a larger amount in asking. Over $100.00 I have noticed that they only pay small amount. None of the members I know of has been paid over $50.00 from that site. So if you write more then forget being paid from them.

Hi! Thank you for responding. I think it is the rating system that was removed not the referrals. Well, am also a newbie at comparedby.us, I guess said site is paying according to my referral and some members who happened to be here in Mylot, too. But, if my balance would remain as 0, I do not think I would continue to post reviews. It would be a waste of time and effort. We'll just see what pioneers can or may say about the site.

I think they have removed the referral pay I have read that more than a month ago before they have disconnected my account with them. They sent me a message that i have been copying my reviews when in fact those reviews that I have shared with them are really my own and I have work hard for it. So goodluck to all active members of that site. Hope you will get paid.

Comparedbyus is definitely a scam site. You and all the other writers are wasting your time working on it. You all should leave the site, and stop to let the site owner earning money while he's cheating members.
