It's been so long since I've been at the Zoo, probably 18 years or so. I live in Vegas and they only have a little petting Zoo I never been to. When I was a kid I always liked the Tigers and the Monkeys. The last time I went to the Zoo was in San Diego and I really didn't like that Zoo very much.

For me I have always been entranced by the monkeys and usually there is a monkey island which I could look at them playing for hours.

Some exotic birds like tokans, parrots, parakeet, are my kids' favorite when visiting the zoo. They love the colors and activities of these birds. They talk too. Next are the monkeys, they enjoy watching them.

I like seeing big cats - tigers :D I've seen tiger in Zoobic Safari in Subic, I even got to pet it and have my picture taken with a tiger cub. I was also able to hold an alligator baby and I think that was cool, and much less gross compared to when I had to hold a huge snake for a picture (I don't like the feel of the muscles moving while they try their best not to slip from your hands). Thanks for the response on my discussion!

My absolute absolute favorite animal in the zoo is the kangaroo. The kangaroo has the best set of springs an animal can have. They have large ears that perk up when sounds change and a beautiful slender long snout. The best part is that they have their own pouch and there is nothing like seeing a baby kangaroo come out of the pouch for the first time ever. My child's favorite animal is a toss up between the Lion and the Tiger for first place position. Any animal in the cat family would do just fine. Our least favorite is the elephant only because they really smell when someone has not cleaned their pen. If the pen is clean, then they are just adorable and lovable.
