It is called "pushback"...you push the plate back away from you and stop eating so much...or at least that is what I have had to learn to do LOL

I am really having a hard time with this myself. I don't have a problem eating healthy foods, but even the healthiest foods are still bad for you if you eat too much of them. I am having to make myself realize that I am not as young as I used to be, and that my metabolism isn't what it used to be either. I have had a couple of people tell me that I have lost weight, but I can not really tell myself. I hope it they were not telling me that just to try to make me feel better LOL

People may recommend exercise, low carb food, low fat food, weight loss pills etc. I have realized these things dont really work for many people. If you want to win that asian tour tour without starving, try the 'Shifting Calories Theory" Very simple and with profound results. You begin to lose up to 9lbs in 11 days.

You don't need to starve yourself in order to lose weight. I used to be like you 2 years ago. What you need to do is to have a daily exercise routine, eat high fiber (cereals, fruits and vegetables) and high protein foods, drink milk, sleep well, eat small portions and eat your food slowly... Try going to sparkpeople.com they have calorie and fitness trackers and let you know how long it will take to lose X amount of weight in X amount of time. I posted a question a little while ago asking if there was a site anyone liked better than it, in search of the most motivating and easiest to navigate sites. There's also prevention. They're both free to use.

.....after I thought about this a little more...... a size 28 waist. I think you should have a bet about the amount of weight lost in a certain amount of time. Some people could lose tons of weight and still never get to that size waist!

Please - do not try any of the fad diets or "tricks" that are circulating. The best and most lasting method of losing weight to to adopt a healthy eating plan that you can follow permanently - they only way to make sure you maintain your loss. I follow the Let's Do Lunch plan and have lost 20 pounds in 2 months. If you would like to check it out, go to http://www.letsdolunch.com

I was in the hospital and asked one of nurses that was helping my boyfriend at the time about caffeine and he said that every coke you drink you must drink two bottles of water so your consumption is easy. Actually soda and alochol all have alot of calrories and makes people gain alot of weight so stay away from that. Also try staying away from pasta and bread alot mor because they are also high in calories. You can try walking along sidewalks or if you have a local football field and they have a track you should try joking that or walking. I hope this helps you out. I am also 5'3 but i only weigh 118. I hope this helps you out. Also no junk food eating, if you have any in site just throw it away LOL.

my past experience tells me that walking over 40 minutes a day is very effective. don't need to cut or limit diet at all. totally free, cost nothing. i did this for over a month and lost 8 pounds.
