Do we put on weight if we eat late at night? I heard someone saying that we do. Is this true?

I used to think that eating at night is a no-no until I learn something more about how our body metabolises from the Hibernation Diet. This article might change the way you think about body metabolism and eating at night.

I think it is true, because we are less active at night than what we are during the day and your metabolism does slow at night when you are sleeping.

Ive heard that too but recently i joined this free site called sparkpeople and they note there that its a myth that you shouldnt eat late at night because your body doesnt know what time it is and so long as you dont eat junk before bed it does no harm.
