I have been cooking a lot of good stuff for my husband since we got married. He has been showing me his belly showing I am doing my job well. He used to be skinny and now he is back to his normal shape. I don't think he is getting fat anyway, he just get bigger and stronger which is good for him. I told him to get him healthy is part of my work ;-) I didn't used to eat lots of meat and sugary stuff that I have been having but I don't get fat at all so he is little jealous :-p How about you guys? Do you mind if your spouse get fatty? Will you say something to him/her? ;-)

Well i think that if you exercise a little, maybe running in the park a few times a week you should not have weight problems. Unless you actually eat huge amounts of food. Ofc diferent persons asimilate faster or slower. You ll often see ppl who eat twice as much as you and never gain weight.

My gf and I are all very thin and I am very envious of the people who are strong, but my gf thinks she is very ok so it's unnecessary to lose weight! For the reason of what I said above, my gf and I do not mind each other become fatter and we have do lots of things to make this dream come trus, unluckly, both of us are still so thin even we have more foods, so bad! Can you give us some tips? By the way, I don't like to eat meat, I am a vegetarian!

Don't skip breakfast, because breakfast is very important for you the first thing in the day. Eat 3 meals everyday at least - breakfast, lunch, dinner and have a balanced diet. But you are vegetarian so you need to find out the vegetarian good can make you gain some weight because I don't know about that. :-) Thanks for your response! :-)

Though I am not married yet, I will definitely not want my husband to be fat and obesitic. As I am just slim and trim, I would want him to be just like me. But I will definiy=tely want him to be a bit muscular!!

I would not mind a fat spouse. In fact, I like fat people. It is better to be fat than thin. I myself always wanted to be fat, but I never became fat, no matter how much I used to eat. I have started thinking that food has not got much to do with one's weight. Maybe it is just luck to become fat.

As wife and mom, I fully understand the feeling to make the best foof, so that my man and son can have enough energy and nutrition for their work and study. When I see them ill, I would blame myself for not caring them enough. But the issue is what we cook for them. There are many books about healthy food. We need to continue our learning to prepare the meals of balanced nutrition. I do not mind my spouse is fat, but too fat is no good for heart and blood pressure. I did not realize it until about I was fifty. More fish and vegetables are much better, both for adults and children.

I am still single, i dont have a husband yet but i want to share my opinion in this discussion. . My boyfriend always tell me he doesnt care if i am fat or not, he told he still like me no matter what happen. its just that he worries about health, so when i was gaining weight than my normal weight he reminded me to take care of my health. I am not so slim woman, i have meat in my bones but i am in good shape now. I dont want to be so slim, i just want to be healthy. my boyfriend is supportive while i was losing weight, he even recommended exercises for toning body, and also how to fight stress because we both know it was the main factor why i gained so much weight last year 2006 and 2007. 2008 was a good start - i already lose pounds and i feel so great.I talk to my boyfriend about how i feel and i am glad he is always there, fat girl or not, he was very supportive. Happy mylotting! Hugs to all !

I'm not perfect by any means. I should lose a few - well more than a few - pounds myself. But I have someone who loves me just the way I am and thinks I'm beautiful in every way. And I love him just the way he is. If he got a bit heavier I think I would get concerned just because it would be a health issue but other than that I'm attracted to him and I love him because of who he is, not what he looks like.

Exactly. Nobody is perfect, you love somebody not because how how awesome he/she looks, it is because what good personality he/she has. :-D Thanks for sharing!

Oh please tell me your secret my dear friend, i am just like you wanting my husband to gain weight. He is really thin and tall. I do the cooking since I'm a stay at home wife. Whenever i cook something, he will finish it, he is not choosy, but i need to get him eat more. It is like his stomach size is with a limit, that if it is full, he cannot continue eating more. I have fruits and sweet for dessert too. So that would be additional to his calorie intake. I don't mind my spouse to get fatty. I just wanted him to gain more weight. If there are some secrets or tips you can share me on how your man increased in size/ gained weight, i will be delighted to hear your reply. Happy Mylotting!

This is exactly what I was worrying when we first got married. He doesn't like eating alone so he wouldn't eat until he gets to the point that he will die... it was not good for him and made me very skinny and unhealthy. We both like to eat so I was confident to feed him well and make him back to shape again. I think the main reason why he gains pounds quic is because I make him to eatevery meal - breakfast at home, I make lunch box for him everyday, I cook good dinner every nights. Sometimes I do bakings for him because he likes it (I don't go too crazy about it thought because it has lots of sugar stuff). And the other thing is eat happily, I mean if you are stressed and feel like 'Oh I need to eat?..." won't be good. That's how I feed my husband hehehehehe ^_^ I hope it can help you :-D

I don't mind a little fatty tissue but this big kind of heavy thing is not really my stuff. I know lots of nice girls who are heavyweights and I did have things with them but later decided to end it. I guess I'm not a fatty person but a little flesh is not bad.

Wowo, I admire you so much coz I either me or bf can cook some good stuff to eat and when we are together, we just eat outside and we are tired of that. So I am thinking about learning how to cook. I think it's important for our future life coz it's healthy to eat home. Actually bf will not mind if I get fat, lol, as I have asked him this question for many times and he says it's a silly question. But I don't want him to get too fat becasue it's bad for health. He dosen't like eating meat or sweet but I do. I think the possiblility of getting fat is bigger than him. Anyway, keep fit is very important!

I wouldn't want him to be fat and he doesn't want me to be fat either lol. I don't have anything against fat people, but I think it is more healthy not to be fat and it also improves your flexibility. I have no problems telling my spouse to start working out. He is a fit person so I don't think I would have to say it to him anyway. He is also quite open to it and we really don't have any problem in giving our opinions to each other as we know it is for the better.
