I just realized I have two extra kids at my house, they are "Not Me" and "I Don't Know." Ask my boys who left the light on, neither or them did it. Must be Not Me and I Don't Now. I tell you these are 2 forgetful kids. Everything that is left on they did, broken they did it. How many of you have these 2 extra kids at your house. Wonder if we could claim them on our taxes.

We are 5 kids in the family so its a lot harder for my parents to trace who is the culprit for certain negligence. So what my dad would do is that if no one is willing to admit to the fault then all 5 of us will get punished. We became more careful not to break the rules and more watchful so that if one of us did something wrong we would know who it is and will tell my dad so that he/she would get punished instead of us all.

Great thought on the taxes thing :)
Perhaps you should hold your boys accountable for their "friends" actions. You would of course have to treat both boys equally because you wouldn't know which friend did it, but "Not Me" and "I Don't Know" shouldn't have to be introuble on their own. :)

Ohhhhh these kids visit me all the time! LOL We also have frequent drop-ins by "I Forgot," "In a Minute," "I'll Do it Later," and the perpetually whiney "Do I Have To."
Glad to know I'm not the only one *grin*

Oh yes, I think those kids have visited my home on several occasions as well. Kids are so forgetful, or rather they just don't want to own up to what they did. Wouldn't that be great if we could claim them on our taxes?
