i use both. mostly cloth. i love my cloth diapers. they are cheaper in the long run, they are cuter, they are better for my babies skin, they are better for the environment, they are more sanitary than disposables, you never see a cloth diaper just discarded in a parkinglot making more trash, it feels good getting back to basics.
i use disposables on occasions when we have rashes so i can use the creams without them getting all over the cloth, yet i've just recently discovered silk liners which help with the rash issue naturally and am cutting down my disposable use in that area. i use disposables when i'm feeling lazy, and it doesn't make me feel good doing it but i know the moisture isn't against my babies skin. i use disposables when he has the runs and i just can't keep up with the laundry and i don't want stinky diapers laying around the house.

Cloth diapers. For every reason there is! I don't want those chemicals on my baby's skin, I want his skinto be able to breath, disposables have been linked to infertility issues in men when they are older. It's much better for the environment, and lets face it, a million times cuter on his tushie! We have saved a boat load of money too. So why NOT use cloth?
