Have you ever seen the movie "Mortuary"? I am watching it right now! It started out kind of slow but this movie turned out pretty good. I had never heard of it before today and was flipping through the stations. It is a story about a family that takes over a decrepit funeral home. It stars Denise Crosby, and she is the new mortician in the town of Arkham. There is a legend about the home that causes the locals to fear it. Townsfolk suspect that the land the home lies on is haunted and the cemetery on the property to be the living place of a former abused child who still lives there. The tagline for this movie was "When the Dead Break Free, All Hell Breaks Loose" This really turned out to be a creepy movie and good. I enjoyed it! You will have to check it out. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Ive seen that movie. It was filmed here where I live in Pomona, CA. I thought it was kind of funny especially at the end.

Small world, I was born in Los Angeles and grew up there! I saw that it was filmed in Pomona when I watched the credits. Do you know which cemetary they used for the movie or whereabouts it was filmed? I was trying to figure that out. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!

oh they made that cemetery for the movie. There is a part in the movie where theyre driving down a large path, this is funny. They actually filmed them driving in, then filmed them driving out to make it look like it was longer I guess. At the end of that path though, there is an old cemetery called Spadra. It's closed but it's really cool there. I hope they open it up to the public again. The brick house they were hanging out at in the movie, is actually in front of the house they were living in.

Cool! I enjoyed it and I am already paying for the cable, so why not? You know, I don't think I would have chosen it to rent, but to see on cable was great with me! Thanks for your comment and have a great day!

I do not like horror movies and a horror movie about a mortuary and cemetary is a definite no, no. I had never heard of this movie either. But now that I have, I can certainly say that I have not missed a thing, hehe.

I love creepy movies, I'll have to check that out. Have you seen "the Grudge" or "the Ring"? Those are a couple more really creepy ones. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I have seen The Ring 1 and The Ring 2. I have also seen The Grudge 1 and The Grudge 2. These are scary movies but they kept me on the edge of my seat. I think the Japanese horror movies mess with your mind way more than the American horror movies ever do.

Yes, I have also seen "The Ring 1 and 2" and "The Grudge 1 and 2". I also saw a similar style movie called "Shutter". I also think that Japanese movies are a little more creepy and scary than ours here in the USA. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!

I never heard of this movie before. It is good to see that Denise Crosby is still working. I really liked her in Star Trek The Next Generation. I also remember her in Pet Cemetary. I guess she is now stuck in B Movie Roles. Oh well, like I said at least she is still working. I will have to check out this movie the next time it is playing on TV, thanks.

Yeah, I saw this movie I think a year or two ago. It's alright. I've seen so many movies that run along these same story lines. I know I've seen it before, I think the kid is actually a grown man who lives underneath the graveyard or something like that, right. This movie doesn't really stick out in my mind so to me it must have been a so-so movie. I give it a 4 out of 10.

I would agree with you on the rating for it. Yes, you are right too about the guy underneath the graveyard. It was entertaining for the hour and a half I watched it. Thanks for your comment and have a great day!
