Hello MAHESH! I guess the most popular movie genre is horror movies. But for me, I would rather prefer to watch a romantic comedy story because the scenes are just light. I also like to watch horror and thriller but I have some criteria especially for the killing scenes and blood scenes.

I'm a big fan of the old school cheesy movies of the 80's, 70's, and 60's. Just to sit and see how hard some of these directors tried to get their story across on shoestring budgets. Working with really bad actors, and the actors themselves thinking that they're giving some ground breaking work. The creative story lines that some of these guys came up with. Even in some of the films I could tell that things were going wrong. Or even the speed that some of these films were shot. Some made in only a couple of days. When I mention old school cheese, I'm talking about all of the horror, slasher, comedy, and action ones.
Today the big budget Hollywood movies are becoming an eye full. With all the CGI going on. And to me the graphics are getting better.
I know that the wolfman is fake, or that lady didn't really jump over that moving bus. It's just for entertainment.
I do watch family movies with my children, and I do find them entertaining, too. Most that I have seen always send a positive message, and have funny dialogues. Plus, some of them kiddie movies have adult undertones that kids won't catch, but will make the parents laugh. Nice to know that the writers were also thinking of the parent watching the movie, too.
