Well lets get started, we live one town from a wal-mart and 2 towns from another. So we decided to go to the wal-mart that was 2 towns away because that town was the only town that had a store that sold appliances. So we went the 17th of February to get our new dryer and freezer along with that also to get me a dishwasher. When we got done there we decided to go to wal-mart to do some shopping. So we decided to look at the wedding bands because we needed new ones. So he found one that we both like and of course they always have his size so he can walk out with it on after paying for it. Mine had to be sent for sizing on that day. So last night I was so excited and could not wait till I got to put them on because it has been a whole year since I wore a wedding band. So we go to wal-mart after we ate dinner and I stood at the jewelry case for a good 30 minutes and with me already upset for waiting so long did not help the issue at all. Then someone came over and said is there something I can help you with and I said yes I am here to pick up my rings and she shooked her head no and I said what do you mean no, then she told me that no one knows how to do that up except for the girl who called off sick. I was of course very heated up and was beyond upset. I looked at my hubby and said how hard can it be take the slip from us and open the lock box match the slip with the rings and let me try them on and I sign and then we all can be on our way. So I of course ranting and raving about it all to where everyone could hear. So we walked back that way and guess what all of a sudden the same lady that told me no went and got the manager. I got my rings after all. I know that the lady was not happy with me but I was angry. I for one will not go back to that wal-mart again unless I have to. I am starting to wonder about the workers at wal-mart anymore. Plus I was not the only one that had problems last night either. This lady waited for about 30 minutes to get help with the picture area after 30 minutes of asking for help. So this is where I will ask you all, do you think I had a right to be upset?

I think you have a right to be upset. Poor service in a retail store is not acceptbable. I have found the same to be true at our local Wal-Marts as well. Customer service is definitely an area that needs to be improved in many stores, though.

Yes that it does need improvement all over the place. I know there is one store in my town where they help you even if you don't need it. That is how people should do service when they work.

Yes I noticed that it is better to go to the local stores, especially now after the problem that I went through at that wal-mart. But then again you will run into poor service at some places. Well I learned my lesson now.
