i noticed most of the 'no responses' discussions are from newbies, and i understand. if you are well-known, people would tend to patronize, as they expect interesting discussions from you. but then...
do you guys check the "new" and "no responses" discussions to see if there are interesting topics that are left out by the "today's top" or "hot" discussion?
just asking. i'm a newbie. maybe that's why.
LOL

Welcome to myLot and good luck!

Indeed it could well help you. Chatting here and discussing among friends and getting paid for it too can only be positive

All the time.... that's where I found this. But I was really on my way yo page 48 so I could answer some older ones.
I like to hit that after answering all of the responses I get and discussions my friends post.
It gives some lost discussions that are worth a second look... a second chance because it moves it up the boards.

I think that you as a newbie have different interests, fresh to this site, your ready to find ways to make money? Atleast that's my own opinion, I did the same. I think that the users who have been on here for a while grow tired of repetitive discussions about earning, some of which are against guidelines. We can't say that we don't blame the newer ones for wanting to earn, we do as well, but I think that since we're used to the site, have grown accustomed to it, were not as hyped up as some of the newbies are!
I guess, did you get that?

Sounds as if that's fun? Polls usually aren't boring at all! Glad you want to get back into writing then!

Hi liaamur! I've been here for a month and today's my first time to check on "no response". I have responded to a post that does not seem to invite a discussion but it has aroused my interest because his topic is about a place that i have not seen for the past 19 years and i'm planning on saving money just so i could visit it once again.

I am newbie too, just joined yesterday. I did not even know that the "no responses" tab existed! But now I know thanks to your post, and I think I'll check the tab as often as I can :)

Welcome to the group liaamur :-) I've been here for 3 years now and each day when I come here I check out 'no responses' and 'new user.' I think it's only fair to give the new people a chance to get their discussions going rather than let it get buried pages down in the list. I almost never check out 'todays top' or 'hot', I figure there's so many responses there and the comments (lots of times) are nothing that I can add something new to, or give a new insight or view to. One thing...start inviting people to be on your friends list. That way when you do post a new discussion, it'll go to their mailbox and you have a better shot at getting replies. Happy posting!

There are a lot of times I am known to check the No Responses discussions and see if there is anything there no one has yet responded back too, that I can offer a response back too. Even though there are a lot of New members maybe listed there, there could be other discussions that just were overlooked due to everyone being quite active in here as well.

I actually do check the no responses tab. There are plenty of interesting discussions that go on there. I find that when I have looked on there that it might be that noone has looked or even noticed yet those discussions, but of course I am not sure of that. I know that I have even found at least one of my own on there before. To me though there are alot of times I write about things that have been going on in my life or something like that so it doesn't bother me if I don't get a response or not. Although I would like one to any discussion I have.

if their discussion is really interesting , then i will enter and reply, but if not i might like to give up
hehe
and sometimes i am a little lazy to reply, so if this post easy to reply ..then it would much better for me to reply
lol
best wishes

yes! most of the time when i am posting responses i check first the no response tab. why? because i would like to support the newbies. i have been a newbie too and i feel how it was when your started discussion never had a single response. but of course i choose the very interesting topic that catches my attention. although i should say that most topic of newbies are repeated somehow but i do understand. when you are new to something your quite excited! LOL

Yes. I'm with Diana on this one, I typically check on weekends when I'm a bit more free to type on the pc. My routine during the week is "check email notifications in the morning", and "post new threads, and new responses in the evening". I've a very limited schedule M-F, but my weekends open me a bit of time when I take off from my work on my thesis and relax a bit writing.

I will sometimes check the No Response tab to find discussions. Sometimes it's easier to find discussions this way. Sometimes I find something there, sometimes I don't. I just depends on the time of day that I look.

i love to check the no responses. i use a lot of those tabs at the top. never use just one all the time. i like to check them all. most of the no responses sometimes are newbies. but a lot of times there will also be discussions that people just started and do not have a response because they were started like 2 minutes ago.
