How would you rate Vista?

Vista Sucks - I am forced to use Vista since my notebook don't support any other OS yet , hoping for a patch to release soon . Vista sucks and I haven't met a person yet who has a praise for Vista .

Hi, harsh707s, I've not experience with Vista, I'm still working with XP on my laptop, heard many ppl say that Vista is not stable by now and not so many softwares are supporting Vista, I think I'll use it only when XP is completely out of the market, or Vista has some really nice features that attract me to use it. If I rate Vista, it will be 3/10. Happy myLotting !!

Vista just had the advantage of having better graphics , that too on the cost of heavy CPU usage .

microsoft operating systems were the best due to their user friendly but vista is lacking in this purpose , its too cumbersome and i have about 15 computers who came demanding for software downgrade from vista to windows xp. they said its not user friendly, too much of graphics has made it an expensive software cos it requires high speed process to run.

sorry for those gramatical errors, vista is not user frinedly, you dont need to go get a training on vista to use vista, microsoft dominated the operating systems world for years due to her user friendly OS but now there are heading to the linux way. most people find it difficult to use linux because it requires training to be used. and if micosoft are heading that way then they will be a shift to another alternative OS that will be user friendly, because not everybody will afford the cost of going for training . we migrated from windows 98, to 98se, to windows2000 to xp without training why shoukd we now go for trainig to use vista?

I do have a praise for Vista, although when I started, I was leery of Vista, because I was hearing so many bad things about it, so I stayed away from it , in the beginning! But later on I happened to help my cousin set up his new computer, and it had Vista on it! So I set it up, used it for a while, and every time I go to his house , I use it, and luckily, I haven't had any problems with it, and actually, all the new stuff and programs on there , I am beginning to like, because I don't have any problems with them! And now I have changed my mind about Vista, and my next computer will have Vista on it, basically because I am not now afraid to try it!

I don't really like vista either. The system seems to run ok but there are still some issues with it. I myself will use windows xp as much as possible.

hey dude, vista is far better from the XP or 98... hardly any crashes or glitches and is pretty fast (if u have the right hardware)... user interface can be a trouble initially but once u figure it out it has to be the easiest and best by far.. and depending upon ur version, u have the aero effect and eye candy which give ur lappy a classy look.. Good Eye-candy, Performance and Reliability! What else do we need?

i think that the best operating system is windows xp,because it makes the pc very fluid and fast. There are praises to view it apart from the commendable graphics (you can get graphics improvements on xp) the whole system is very heavy and steals a lot of ram.

Yes Windows vista sucks, its visualization and resolution is good, but when it compared to other Windows OS such as XP, its not a user friendly and its decreases the system speed and not supports by many softwares. The earlier version of windows XP is much better than vista. I also have installed XP in my system and its good supported by many softwares and user friendly.

from the time i have got my laptop i have been using vista and i know starting it was a problem and we were like not satisfied with vista but as we use it and after some time we would try and learn more about vista and we can be comfortable with it. actually has some of its inbuilt festures which dont come in other operating systems and even we were unaware about it but later you would find its features interesting and comfortable.

I don't know much about vista yet, although I am using it on three of my desktop PCs. I found it unsupported by many pc games. I don't know what to say, and I won't say vista is "suck" at all.

I think vista failed. Many people hate it. Still there are software that are not compatible to the OS. Xp is still the most stable Os of windows for me.

Seems most of you are against vista so I'll try to be the supporting role. I started using it about two and a half years ago and was not at all impressed at first, but after a few weeks I learned to live with it.. And now i wont go back to XP. I think most people dislike the OS due to lack of experience or maybe they are just used to XP and afraid of change. There is also a hardware factor when arguing vistas performance rating. So. experience wise I would rate vista to be the best OS I have used for basic computer use to gaming. The only suggestion I can offer those who are "stuck" with vista.. Keep it updated and if you are using a desktop PC, invest in a video card. Your computer will love you for it. thanks.
