Do you ever write in the middle of the night?

Last night I had trouble sleeping. That's not good, because I like to get up early and write my article for the day. I couldn't do both--stay up "not sleeping" and get up early as well. So I did something that I could do. I wrote my daily article at 1:00 am. I figured it would all even out the next morning, and it did. So what about you? Do you have a set time to write for Associated Content in your day or week? And do you ever write in the middle of the night?

When I first started writing for Associated Content I was more of a nighttime writer, but now I'm just the opposite. I like to go to bed by 10 or 11 and after being at work all day I just want to relax before bed. Most of the writing I do for AC now is during the morning hours (around 10 or so) or sometimes I write just after lunch if I couldn't finish before that or I am trying to write more than one article that day (such as today).

I've done days of 2 articles, but never 3. The early morning hours are good writing hours for me because I am fresh and uninterrupted. Once the day gets going, it seems life has a way of bringing disruptions. My favorite articles to write are the ones that almost write themselves. When I have to dig a bunch for an article, it loses its fun for me. I usually know by the time I go to bed, what I will work on the next morning. That way, I can formulate a plan.

I seldom sleep more than 5 hours, so I write, and do other constructive things, late at night!

I get 6 hours most often, but sleep is something I don't get quality amounts of. I wake up too often or the aged dog wakes me up for her nightly business outside in the wee hours of the morning. Would you consider that constructive?

I pretty much always write at night. For some reason I usually get inspired while I'm tossing and turning in bed trying to sleep. Then I figure I might as well make a few bucks writing an article rather than just laying in bed. Its a bit odd but I've gotten some decent articles done at 3 and 4am.

Lol I do that quite frequently. Either I can't sleep and figure that I might as well do something more productive and write, or I spend most of the day procrastinating on doing anything and then before I realise it, it's already night and I don't want to let a day go by without me doing anything and then I write something.

Writers gotta write! I'm always thinking about the next article. I don't know what kind of articles you write, but I'm not into doing a lot of research. There's no fun in that for me. I enjoy topics that give tips and ideas and that means I must do a lot of creative thinking or reflection. I usually write in the very early morning, but 1:00 a.m. is not my idea of early morning--it's more like middle of the night. I hate to have a day pass by without an article either. Sounds like you take it seriously too.

I don't write in the middle of the night, as I have nothing to write about! And I haven't ever known anyone who does, but your'e plan was very smartly decided, If I couldn't sleep I would always wacth a boring old movie until I felt the mood to sleep, LOL!

i must tell that you are really sincere for your job and you do it on time and it is really nice. no i dont write any articles and i just spend time at mylot and write here and that too when i have time i would spend it here and i really dont believe on any sites as there are more scams and some really take lot of work and pay less. i really want to go some day job and i think to do that i have to wait and i am just not able to do it. due to my family i am not able to do a day job but i hope this stage passes soon and i can get into a job faster.
